The mothers of dead children raped and murdered by illegal aliens?

I love the smell of hyperbole in the evening.

Care to tell us how much China imports from the US and vice versa? Quick reality check🤣

The price hike on U.S. foods to China will be yet one more hit for those Republican voting rural districts.

On top of the hit Trump’s destruction of USAid has already delivered.

Trump emphasized that while he supports legal immigration, he wants newcomers who "have the capability of loving our country, not people that hate our country." He stated that the U.S. needs workers for its factories, auto industry, and other sectors, emphasizing that the new policies were designed to ensure that these industries thrive once more.

Exactly, out with the terrorist supporters, US flag burners and criminals. In with a sensible immigration policy

Also think about how absurd the notion that Cambodian consumers, from a very poor country with much smaller population, should buy as much stuff from the US as what the US, the wealthiest country in the world, buys from Cambodia.

Whilst I think that Trump is completely unfit to be in the White House and I think this tariff theatre is absurd, the reason for the high tariffs for ASEAN high exporters is that a lot of the Thai/Vietnamese/CAMBODIAN/Laotian/Indonesian exports etc. are in fact disguised Chinese exports.

If Thursday was "Liberation Day", is today (Friday) " Slow Motion Train Crash Day"?

Perhaps we should ask the Soy bean farmers who went bust the last time Mr Trump played his tariff game with China?

However, Trump's formula for calculating tariff rates for nations around the world is based on an elasticity rate lower than it should be in practice, according to senior fellows Kevin Corinth and Stan Veuger with the American Enterprise Institute.

The formula assumes an elasticity of import prices with respect to tariffs of about 0.25, but the economists say that that number should be closer to 1.0 (0.945).

"Their mistake is that they base the elasticity on the response of retail prices to tariffs, as opposed to import prices as they should have done," the scholars wrote.

If the assumptions surrounding elasticity are adjusted in Trump's formula, no country's tariff would exceed 14%, and most would be at exactly 10%, the baseline established by the Trump administration.

Next week they will say "more pain, more gain" like America's Stock Market is some roided out bodybuilder. 🤤

Meanwhile, the US job market added over 220,000 private sector jobs last month, blowing past the experts' predicted 140K.

Sadly (not), gub'ment jobs are going down.

But doesn't that mean more people paying taxes and fewer soaking them up?

Jobs rebounded from wildfire and weather which dampened the job market in Feb. Also jobs created in the transportation and warehousing due to front loading purchases in anticipation of the tariffs. March report is the calm before the storm.

The economist magazine pegs Trump's moronic national suicidal action perfectly.

They're already bringing in people who are trying to "spruce up" the ongoing Trump Economic Collapse?

They brought in Bob Ross to touch up the Boss's spray on hair.

Donnie's gonna be busy hitting the links when the market collapses (more) today...

They're going to need a good looking spokesman for the Trump Great Depression. 👍
