And as I'm sure the article in Wikipedia will note even after DNA testing acquitted the five so-called rapists, Trump still insisted on their guilt.

Can u go a day without thinking about Trump?

I really wonder how people can be so bored as to go back and forth debating the merit or lack thereof of a prolific lying SOB.   Fox lovers will defend him emotionally with no facts to back

From the Wikipedia link above:

Donald Trump also commented on the settlement in a 2014 opinion article for the New York Daily News. He said the settlement was "a disgrace", and that the men were likely guilty: "Settling doesn't mean innocence. ... Speak to the detectives on the case and try listening to the facts. These young men do not exactly have the pasts of angels."

During his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump again said that the Exonerated Five were guilty and that their convictions should not have been vacated.

In June 2019 Trump stated he would not apologize, saying the Exonerated Five "admitted their guilt".

That was not NAFTA,Trump negotiated the USMCA agreement in 2020.

USMCA kept most of the NAFTA agreement. There were some small changes made at the request of the USA. The name was changed at the request of the Trump administration.

-Auto parts content:  In order for automobiles to enjoy tariff-free status, at least 75% of their parts must come from North America. NAFTA previously required 62.5%.

-Labor rules: Under the USMCA, 40-45% of an automobile’s parts must be manufactured by workers making at least $16/hour. Mexico was forced to allow  auto unions to organize.

-Dairy: USA  obtained greater tariff free access to Canada based upon market share. To date US  dairy has not exceeded the  caps. Tariffs only apply when imports exceed the caps.

-Digital and Intellectual property protections extended from 50 years after the author’s life to 70 years.
Additionally, the USMCA prohibited duties on digital products like ebooks and music, and protects US internet companies against lawsuits forcontent on their platforms.

-The De Minimis (duty free) threshold was increased to $150 USD ( from $20) for imports into Canada and $100 (from $50) for imports into Mexico.

-Added a Sunset provision. Agreement expires  in 2036 and before that requires a review of the trade deal every six years to amend or re-authorize the agreement to ensure no issues are overlooked.

This was announced  2 days ago Subaru will no longer export its US manufactured vehicles to Canada. it will instead  sell its Japanese products  in the Canadian market and pay the lower Canadian tariffs on foreign vehicle imports. This will eventually result in layoffs at the US  production facility.

Subaru sold 68,043 vehicles in Canada in 2024, of which 26% (Approx. 16,791) were made in the U.S.. Canadian sales for Subaru  was 54,966 vehicles sold overall in 2023, Kubota tractor and ATV is doing the same.

The takeaway is that the  tariff was  with Canada will not  increase automotive sector jobs in the USA, but will reduce them.

Winning bigly again.

One can safely assume that Subaru, Kubota and ATV were not party to one of those 200 trade deals then.

The United States has already struck 200 trade deals, President Donald Trump said in an interview this week — but he refused to say with whom.

Trump’s comments come just two weeks after he announced a 90-day pause on most of the sweeping global tariffs he imposed earlier this month to allow time for trade negotiations with hundreds of countries slugged by the punishing levies. Only China was exempted from the 90-day pause.

And in a similar foray into the improbable...

Trump reiterates that he spoke with China's Xi, offers no details

WASHINGTON, April 25 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he had spoken with Chinese President Xi Jinping numerous times but did not say when the two leaders last talked or what topics they discussed.

Asked whether he has spoken with Xi since enacting his tariff plan, Trump told reporters: "I don't want to comment on that, but I've spoken to him numerous times."

Trump's comments came shortly after TIME magazine published an interview that quoted the Republican president as saying that Xi had called him.

Negotiated or struck... probably neither I would speculate; I thought I read a couple of weeks ago that there was going to be a big incentive for the first country to strike a deal?

I used to jump right into the middle of these forays until it finally hit me - there is no changing the hearts and minds of those who willfully refuse to admit they were wrong.

(and for every "thumbs down" I get, I know I owned a MAGAt)

My Fox loving friend told me we have to just wait and see about the tariff situation. Today he said he's tired of waiting.  So, there is still hope for some to see the light.

My Trump hating friend told me that Trump stole the election in 2020. He killed himself, god rest his soul, after the 2024 election. His actions were a bit extreme, I would reccomend counseling for all of you whose world gets more and more destroyed every day,

Sure. You really oughtn't to be telling fairy tales here. Given your attitude towards those who criticize Trump, how likely is it that anyone who hated him would be your friend? Unless maybe this was a case of dominatrix and slave.
