The Dems did build a government that we can't afford.

I see, and despite having a number of GOP administration since WW 2 ended they could do nothing about it. OK then.

Really? Which part of what I've written in this thread could be construed as war mongering?

Trump expects other counties to spend more on their own defense and you disagree with anything Trump says.

Why do you hate the US taxpayer?

The huge drivers of the debt are the social programs.

You don't reply to what I write at all. It's just an incessant whine about how much we hate Trump. Maybe you should go and have a good cry instead.

Dutton is fine,   and I believe he will win,  Albanese is also ok,  he's a good foreign relations type of guy,  Dutton is a good Australian sovereignty protection guy, he's staunch anti-China and he's a good military hard liner,

he won't take any crap from outsiders if he wins,  especially China ...and Maybe Australia needs that type of person as it moves into the a very hostile and awakening environment.

I said years ago,  and just recently again,  Australia should be very concerned now what with the current geopolitical wars in play.   Australia has to start building it's military capacity to protect it's borders,  it cannot rely on America forever,    while America may be there to help,  it's not a dead certain for sure.

Polls say Dutton gets smashed. Even if wrong he's likely to lose. No personality and not enough good policies.

aha,  that's interesting ... I haven't been following any of the news or his policies,  Albanese is a softer and possibly more approachable person than Dutton,    but I still say Dutton is good for the border protection, more than Albanese,  but that isn't only what's required obviously.     thanks for that info...     even if Albanese continues,  he's ok for Australia and I hope the Aussies learnt that the revolving door PM's is not in Australia's best interest as they witnessed.

Left wing socialist globalist liberalism is a disease and spreads very rapidly in a world that is debauched. Canada has always been a  vessel of England and Australia likewise. This disease originated in the UK which was once a great land of opportunity and self reliance but unfortunately, the evils of liberal thinking has corrupted the very fabric of this once great country. At this point Canada is lost but there is still hope for Australia if its citizens wake up and realize that liberalism is like a cancer, it eats at the very core of its host and in time a person will become a withered, bitter pathetic being.

"Left wing socialist globalist liberalism" How's that?

It's funny that Trump turned you lefties into a group of war mongers.   The USA can no longer afford to protect the entire Western world.

Tell that to the Brits, Aussies and other soldiers who lost their lives or limbs in Afghanistan supporting America after the USA was attacked on 9/11.

Albo is useless. Complete flog but Dutton is too boring to get elected. They need a new leader.

Dutton is as popular as a turd in a punch bowl.

He made the mistake of trying to be Trump-like, then reversed course based on polling.

Another mistake was parading his son as an example of the home ownership crisis, when Dutton himself had made $30 million trading in properties.

Australians are quite good at spotting phonies. A shame Americans can't.

Which is why the USA has 36T in debt.

I hope you can understand that.

The USA is $36 trillion in debt because Americans are like pigs at a trough.

40% obese, 70% overweight. Not hard to connect the dots.

Australia can learn a lot by Trump.  For the better.

How not to become Chinese citizens.

And how not to run casinos.

And how not to be drafted.

And how not to commit crimes because eventually you'll get caught.

And how not to imposed blanket tariffs like a total schmuck because if fracks up the US and world economy.

And how not to.......I could sit here all night.

And Australia can't afford to spy for the USA at Pine Gap.

Yep, currently forecast Dutton will lose. Last time Trump was in power Australia aligned with Trump which hurt economically. Dutton tried playing the tough guy and with trump coming to power again and  turned around with tariffs on Australia really annoyed many Australians, lost money of the stock exchange and Superannuation values being reduced and harmed some aspects of the Australian economy quickly lost favour. We will know by 4th May if he won  / lost.

If I were still there today, I would like to think that I would vote for the Liberal (translation: Conservative) party; however, IMO Peter Dutton was the wrong choice for leader. Watching the news, there is no way he will win.
