May 17, 2025May 17 Earth has had several mass extinctions. There will be more before Earth ceases to exist. Don't worry about it.

Yes the U.S. is in there but that is more to do with the number of people and lack of education in parts of the country.
May 17, 2025May 17 Reminds of Mark Twain's quip: "Everybody talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it." Whaddya gonna do about overpopulation? Almost impossible to suggest any solution as easy to anticipate the objections that will arise. Even suggested limiting births will get some up in arms.
May 17, 2025May 17 Capitalism does not rely on a large population, so much as growth. A large population is the result of growth. Specifically, it is growth economics that is to blame However I'm not sure that can be separated from capitalism.
May 17, 2025May 17 The planet now has the highest population that it has ever had. At the same time, living standards are at their highest ever - and poverty is at its lowest level ever. So where's the overpopulation problem? A greater problem going forward is going to be rapid DEpopulation, driven mainly by the COVID "vaccines", and other population-reducing policies by such people as Bill Gates and his ilk.
May 17, 2025May 17 The population of the world has increased 4-fold since 1900, from 2 billion to 8 billion. I suspect that this is a lot to do with global warming. Why does no one ever mention such a rise in population as a problem? More population means: More profits; more taxes; more economic growth. Economic growth is like the Holy Grail for politicians, and the one thing it requires is population growth. Population growth is the elephant in the room.

And the rest of the world isn't like that. It's a bit like climate change, India and China pump out co2, and white fold are supposed to compensate for their irresponsible behaviour. Oh no, the poor 3rd world people are starving ......... But farmers don't grow food for free, so it can't be fixed. This is the madness of wokism, civilised white folk being required to commit racial suicide to compensate for the behaviour of non white primatives.
May 17, 2025May 17 I've seen some recent studies that have China's population dropping to 650 million by the year 2060, multiple predictions also have shown Thailand's population to drop to 35 million within that same period. The people are just getting smart and many are deciding not to have children, or to have one child at the most. I don't want to sound racist, because I'm not, but 21 out of 22 countries in the world that have the highest birth rates are Muslim nations, so that is where the real problem lies. This is not a great time to be bringing children into the world, and people are wising up. I don't think they're going to be able to reverse that trend. And it's a good thing overall, though some pain will be felt, no doubt. World population needs to drop. Well what might appear to be an empty lifestyle to some, is bordering on paradise to many millions of us. Though I like kids, I've never had the desire to own any. One hour with one is plenty. It's a personal choice, we all have to make these kind of decisions. 98% choose to go the conventional route and have children. For me children were never an option. And I'm infinitely thankful for that. The best thing that's happening to the world right now is countries like China and Japan just saying no to children. I do not think children are that special, they're not really needed, they are way over rated, and thankfully it's a choice these days and not compulsory. A lot of people are saying no, I don't need the headaches, I don't need the nonsense, I don't need the expense, I don't need the responsibility, and the planet does not need any other kid. Nah, I choose to have a great life, I don't need kids. I did that and it was the wisest and smartest decision of this lifetime. I don't miss not having kids for a nanosecond. The declining birth rates are simply symptomatic of intelligent people looking at life in this day and age, looking at their financial situation, looking at the lack of state support, and just simply deciding that having children it's just not some place they need to go. If they're going to have children, many are limiting it to one child. There is nothing that could possibly be more positive for the future of Thailand, and the world, than a seriously declining birth rate. It's something that we need drastically. The last thing in the world this planet needs right now is an expanding population.

People are just too ignoranat, stupid or lazy to even provide for themselves and be happy. Yea, I don't have a whole lot of respect for the human race. People living where they don't want, working a job they don't like, and even in a relationship, they can't figure out how get out of. Some can't even control their habits, addictions, whether food, alcohol/drugs, cigs, as their health deteriorates right in front of them Tell themselves, it's a disease, instead of simply having a bit of self respect, exercising minimal effort and living the life they want. I'm a uneducated, LPOS, and even I figured out the basics to be happy and enjoy life. Everyone blaming everything and everyone else for problems of the world, and themselves, without simply looking in the mirror. That's where they'll find the problem, and the solution. All human activity covers a mere 1 percent of the planet. Buildings cities etc.

May 18, 2025May 18 Overpopulated! What are you talking about? There are millions of acres still to be populated (It's the concentration that's the problem) Space and Urbanization Only ~1-3% of Earth’s land is urbanized—cities could become denser and more efficient (e.g., Tokyo’s high-density living). Rural depopulation in some regions suggests underuse, not overcrowding.

Saying that, I would not have one in a 1st world country, as simply too expensive.
