What animals would you kill or remove from inside your home?

I'm not a Buddhist, but I don't like killing living things for no reason.

My current home (like many previous homes) has many holes in the structure that allow animals to come in....

I kill mosquitoes because they are annoying!

I kill large centipedes because their bite is very painful, (but I don't kill millipedes)

I kill cockroaches because I hate them!

I remove snakes, but I won't kill them, even if they are venomous

I remove scorpions in case I accidentally step on them (I did that before and it hurt!)

I remove tookay lizards because their poop is big and their voice is even bigger!

I try to remove geckos because they poop everywhere

I remove beetles, caterpillars etc, in case I squash them by accident

I don't remove or kill spiders, especially the huge wolf spiders. They're cute.

I remove any ladyboys or bar-girls, occasionally I kill them..... 🙂

How about you?

Why would you want to kill a scorpion ? I feel rather lucy when I see a scorpion and I would have removed it to its natural habitat. Really no need to harm them . Was you just showing o

  • MAGAs!😁     Mosquitos   Ants Geckos Arachnids

I've just killed a gigantic cockroach.

I have also waged a weeks long merciless war of extermination against ants. Victory on all fronts due to poisoning.

If I had mosquitos I would kill them.

Centipedes too, snakes too, scorpions too, beetles too. I never kill geckos and lizards as they are our friends in the fight against insects.

Same with spides, they can live.

I also remove ladyboys, but never meet any bargirls, knowingly at least. I do remove plenty of non-professional girls because they are mentally ill, liars, cheaters and flakes.

I forgot about the ants.  They get killed because they will get inside food containers (even airtight containers!!)

How can ants get inside airtight containers ?

Oh my God they are the main issue here. I was watching a Youtube channel of some British guy who almost had a mental breakdown because of ant invasion in his house.

I almost went the same way.

Same here; so only animals that suck my blood, eat my food, or damage my clothes, etc., meaning cockroaches, moths, mosquitos, and ants (if they get too numerous)... I leave spiders and little geckos alone, as they're useful in killing the former. As for little drain flies, I kill them sometimes; I don't know why. For large weird flies, or the occasional wasp, I open the window and drapes, so that they can find their way out.

Bargirls, or other pesky girls, I currently keep out of the house, but if I let one in again, she'd have to be up for a thorough soapy right after entering... 😆

Even the Dalai Lama gave permission to kill pests and insects.

So no issue there.

I reluctantly get rid of tookay lizards, they mostly look for food, I've found two in the toaster, mosquitoes get it, no cockroaches here. Mynah birds and pigeons get scared away on the balcony

That is something that I've personally experienced and I still can't figure out how...... 🙂

A few years ago, when I was staying at a hotel in Naypyitaw (Burma), there were 3 tookay living behind my wardrobe and making an awful noise during the night.  I asked the hotel staff to remove them, thinking that since this is essentially a Buddhist country, the staff would catch the lizards and place them in the garden.

Not a chance! 6 staff arrived and proceeded to chase the poor animals around my room until they (the lizards, not the staff!), were beaten to death with brooms.....

Oh dear, not my plan at all 😞

Everything!  I try to get rid of geckos 'humanely' although I don't think they like being sprayed.

Chickens are allowed inside to stay safe at night, and because they peck around picking up crumbs and insects. Stray dogs coming in get a chunk of firewood thrown at them. Cows may stick their head inside the door or window, but full entry is forbidden.

It takes alot of them to lift the lid.

First and foremost , Mother in laws.

Next in no order

Jing Joks  ..........  too much poo everywhere

Ants ..........into any food.

Rats .....get in ceiling. I trap and release far from home

Snakes .........dogs kill

Any annoying bugs.

It only takes one ant to move a rubber tree plant.

Ants and cockroaches are my main gripe, monsoon season rats and mice can be an issue when looking for higher ground. Monsoon season is also bad for ants; they sometimes try to move the whole colony indoors!

I just killed a ham and cheese omelet. Next victim will be a pizza.

Have not had to kill or remove anything since we got the cat.

Used to have to sweep a few up, and the wife would “save” one now and then, but they’re few and far between anymore.

not sure how it works for you - but so far we have been successful.

We once had a problem w/snakes but I taped a sign to the ledge of the step saying 'Ham Ngoo'- - and they stopped coming,

I kill large spiders. I am arachnophobic.

How do you know the cats have dealt with them before you see them? Do the cats tell you?

Easy - before I had a cat I had to set mousetraps every night and they were frequently full in the morning!  After cat - no rats at all.
