How does this work out financially? If a guy pays 30k baht a month is that much cheaper than hiring a woman for maybe three times a week for sex? I suppose there are pros (pun not intended) and cons, with a monthly subscription you at least know what your are getting and the woman (or girl) is safe, with a new one each time there must be risks but at least you get variety. But I suppose if a guy is 20+ years older than the girl then they have to pay for it as lets be honest, no where in the world would a girl be interested in an old bloke for sex. But for some reason in Thailand many farangs believe otherwise. I do find it funny when I see the situation though where an old bloke is strutting down the street with a young woman, they seem to think we do not know what is going on and do not seem to realise we could all do it. -

O Retirement visa
As DrJack54 said, you go to the US, you apply for the visa thru the eVisa webportal, selecting the thai consulate which serves the state where you are (in your case if you're in Washington state you use the Los Angeles consulate) and you wait in the US until the visa is approved or rejected. They will email you the PDF file that is the visa if it's approved, you print that and give it with your passport to the officer at passport control when you stamp in to thailand On their website they state the processing time -
