Ok ...... personally I always felt much better when i was convinced a friend, or a worker,  or ultimately a live in companion was interested in me for more than just what they could get out of it .

Photo from last year ..... swimsuit is under the stylish Singha shirt  😃  Still a good 10 after 15 years together .... in my view anyway

 

Looking at my photos from when we first met .... she was a good 11 out of 10.  But she's more than looks alone .... helps run our business and is caring and loving.

99% luck.  She was managing a small hotel we were using for business guests .... I was struck by her exotic looks and wicked sense of humour.

 

I think the fact I was not looking for a partner helped.  Made me appear more self confident than I normally would be around a beautiful woman, and the Thai work culture helped too ... as the team was running around looking after the 'boss', which created the false illusion of 'power'.  

 

Age gap is 20 years ... she was late 20's when we met.

On our way to my monthly appointment at the hospital, I noticed my  niece was driving 30 kilometers per hour (kph). 30 kph = 18 mph, a speed so slow I've never seen it in America. It was actually nice. We were moving at a comfortable pace and I didn't feel any impatience. No stress. We were keeping up with traffic and few cars were passing us.
