What Is Colloidal Silver, and Is It Safe?

Colloidal silver is a controversial alternative medicine. Advocates claim it may be used to treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions. However, there is no scientific evidence to support these claims, and medical experts warn of potential serious side effects with use.

Aden health food store

finally an answer - - is that in the Garden of Aden or just nearby...

Finicky, are you familiar with 'Blue Diamond Breakfast Restaurant, Moon Muang Soi 9?
They used to sell it, and I'm pretty sure I saw some there two months ago...
Just be careful how you use it. Works great for cuts, scrapes, and burns. Not so much drinking the stuff, although many do drink it... until they turn blue.

Thanks - I just use it topically - I have had the same bottle for many years - currently using it for a rash. And yes, I know Blue Diamond from many years ago... not sure if there is parking nearby...

maybe see you for lunch next week. I am coming in for an acupuncture appointment.

Oh yes, the magic elixir of the elderly British expat.

Very poor parking around there, even for a bike!  You have to park a block before it and then walk.
Mungkala? I might see you there.

This search takes 10 seconds and has a bucket full of sources in your area.

i am not promoting (nor the opposite)  this particular substance ...... BUT !!

THAT WARNING , IF YOU GOOGLE (paid shill for big pharma.... so the "searches" are 95% bias) ........... that warning is front and foremost for ALL "NATURAL"  products.

just for kicks..... read some of the possible side effects on the info sheet of any allopathic med out there.    Everything has "potential side effects " .

Naturapaths will explain how much safer almost all "alternative remedies"  are when compared to those pushed by the Establishment.

that said..... self treating is difficult for the average human .   but not impossible 🙂

I take various supplements.

Healthline.com seems to have an extensive library of reviews on many herbal supplements.

They appear to be objective because for some herbal remedies, they promote them quite heavily as having numerous health benefits and minimal risks.

I remember another supplement they were warning about - ginseng, which is now added to Red Bull, etc ...

This site does not warn against all non mainstream supplements at all. So if there is a particular warning about excessive risks with sth, I am cautious to use it.

They reference scientific studies, and in the case of colloidal silver, they claim the science isn't solid.

But by all means, cross reference any information with sites you trust.

But keep in mind the same racket occurs as with Big Pharma, ie people get paid to sell supplements and sometimes they won't tell you the risks if they are lining their pockets.

It's easy and inexpensive to make once you have the equipment.  Add a jar and distilled water.

The usual suspects will give you a bunch of mealy-mouthed, "it's a conspiracy theory" nonsense.

Silver-based medicines are used in hospitals as broad-spectrum antimicrobial especially in burn wounds, e.g., silvadene and other similar meds.  Other uses are anecdotal.

I was expecting something on making photographic plates, not quack medicine.

I used to make my own using an apparatus made in the U.K.  It used "alternating d.c." [current reversal once a second] and ran off a 9-volt battery.

Distilled water has very low conductivity and to reduce its resistance is best kept heated.

When my instrument eventually failed I tried to purchase one from SOTA Instruments, known for quality but not cheap.  However they would not supply to Thailand because they had experienced refusal by Thai Customs to permit import.

So one must either bring in personal luggage (Can declare as a water-purifying device, which is valid) or build one's own.  Instructions for latter can be found online.

Also recommended to check out the Bob Beck Protocol.

Silver has been known as a disinfectant since time immemorial, long before Pasteur discovered bacteria.

true :    so.... all should read up .   comments by users i find helpful .   when getting serious about alternative remedies .... be prepared for trial and error .

Unless you have a tip top naturapath and lots of money to give them ..... your body will be the "trial " .

naturopaths can be good, but can also be scammers.

and fortunately there is a lot of good information online.

if you are willing to put the effort, you can save money.

all the best on your health journey.
