I extracted the text and got it translated: 1. Originals must be shown. 2–5. General Documents Application form TM.7 with two 2-inch photos (taken within the last 6 months) Copy of the foreigner's passport (every page with immigration stamps) Acknowledgment form of the conditions of permission to stay (form STM.2) Letter of acknowledgment of the prohibition on re-entry (form STM.9) 6. Marriage Certificate 6.1 If married in Thailand: Must have both the Marriage Certificate (Kor.3) and Marriage Registration (Kor.2), with a current-year copy of Kor.2 6.2 If married abroad: The foreign marriage certificate must be certified by the embassy and the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs Must also have the original and copy of Kor.22 7. June 16, 2025Jun 16 As has been stated, nearly every IO has different requirements. I got a yearly extension 3 times, then had a 2 year break & applied last week in Cha Am. Interestingly they required an extra 4 new forms, a re-notification of address even though we'ved lived at the same place for 10 years plus some forms in Thai only which I believe give the Thai Police permission to fact check. This is in addtion to one of the new forms being STM.11 Consent Form for Fact Checking. the full list of requirements at Cha Am is below. Note the following points for Cha Am: > You can apply 30 days before your visa expires > Bank letter & statements (B100 each) must be signed & stamped by the bank & no more than 7 days before the application date > If the letter & statement are issued on the day of the application - all good. If not you may be asked to deposit money in the account & show the deposit slip as proof. Not the the total amounts must agree. > Amphur Issued KR.2 (B20) must be no more than 7 days old. > Additionally, Cha Am requires their own form called "Residential Certificate" which is quite different to TM.28 or TM.30 > They also require 6 photos of both spouses & will send out the Thai Immigration Police to take additional photos of both spouses plus a Thai Immigration Police Officer & one of your witnesses. > A HAND-DRAWN Map - not a Google Map printout > For a first application, 2 witnesses are required with copies of their ID Card & House Book. For subsequent applications, only one witness is required & it is preferrable to use one of the two for the 1st application. I'm not sure as I was "documented out" but I think my two witnesses also had to sign the Thai Police form giving the police permission to fact check the witnesses. Sorry if the images below are blurry - can't seem to get them any better.

If you've already filed a TM30, then just a copy of the 'receipt of notification' is sufficient, which is usually stapled in the back of your passport.

I would say seeing as you've never gotten an in country extension at that office (or any office it would appear 😮 ) that you and your thai significant other should slog on over to the immigration office and get the hand out listing the requirements at that specific office as far as, marriage documents, TM30, lease, land lord i/d, wife i/d, house book, bank letter, bank statement updated bank book, photos, map etc Believe me going there to get the hand out will save you multiple trips there and back if you don't get it right the first time You will apply for the yearly extension, you will pay the 1900baht, get a 30 day under consideration stamp, then go back on that date and they will ink the year extension into your passport. This is NOT an immigration office specific list of requirements, BUT it is a good solid general list of what can be asked for. With over 80 offices in the country that's why I suggested you go get the hand out specific to that office..
June 16, 2025Jun 16 Any Amphur can issue the updated letter, confirmation of your marriage is still ongoing and you're not divorced, take marriage certificate and marriage registration form. The bank letter is to confirm that the account is yours and in your name only, passport and bank book required.
