Trump gets brutally shut down by Carney at G7

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

As Trump started droning on and on about the need to take over democratic cities and states and complaining about democratic mayors and governors in addition to a tirade about the G7's unwillingness to accept Russia into the fold, Carney stepped in and brutally shut down the conference and stopped Trump in his tracks, the look on Trump's face was precious.

America’s leader decided to open the international G7 summit with a long complaint, seemingly in support of Russia.

Speaking before the global trade coalition, Donald Trump lamented that the group—which consists of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the EU—would not allow Russia to join its ranks.

Yes, it must really hurt patriotic Americans to watch Trump continuously embarrass the nation right in front of the whole world.

Calling it a clown show doesn't even begin to describe it. And that unwavering and never ending Putin support? Treason.

Incredible that Trudeau still gets his way.

In 2013, Trudeau was elected as the leader of the Liberal Party and led the party to a majority government in the 2015  federal election

The Group of Eight (G8) was an intergovernmental political forum from 1997 to 2014, formed by incorporating Russia into the G7. The G8 became the G7 again after Russia was expelled in 2014 after the Russian annexation of Crimea

Russia was kicked out in 2014. Trudeau became PM in 2015.

Trudeau? What has he got to do with it?

Germany was a major power when Hitler was in charge prior to 1940. Nobody stood up to him and the rest is history.

Russia is indeed a major power just as North Korea is a nuclear power. The behavior of both requires the world to stand up to them and refuse to carry out business as usual.

But first things first,  get yourself up to date on who the current heads of government are, and then go from there.

Whatever one may think about it, it confirms that Trump is completely erratic and obsessed. The behaviour of Democratic mayors is certainly not a topic of interest for the G7. 🙂

Couldn’t face criticism nor factual response to his nonsense then immediately taco ed straight back to his comfort zone….weak….

And NBC, and the BBC, and just about every other major broadcaster.

Of course they may all be part of a major global conspiracy, dedicated to making Mr Trump appear a fool; which casual observation suggests is unnecessary as he is doing it remarkably well by himself!

Anyway Karoline  Leavitt (aka "Taco Belle") confirms that he got the hump, climbed onto Air Force One ( know known as "Panda Express" as it delivers orange chicken) and flew home.

The G7 should be named the G1 and the irrelevant little 6.

How can Trudeau expel when he didn't become pm until after Russia was expelled ? If you look at the pic in the wiki link you posted it is Steven Harper not Trudeau.

Where would CA be without the rest of the US.  In fact CA gets 34% of their state budget funded by the federal government.

The OP didn't include a source.

What video did you watch?

I saw Carney meekly ask Trump for permission to end the questions so they could get on with their scheduled work.

Trump permitted young master Carney to send the reporters on their way.

Typical MAGA nonsense. The same as saying Biden is the cause of all the things Trump has screwed up.

Of course he instructed his Bilderberg companions, the little Canadian emo weasel.

It was the wrong place and the wrong time, and it was a boring and spiteful speech that nobody wanted to hear. Thankfully Carney shut him down and made him look like the enormous fool that he is.

Having now see the video, I think it’s quite wrong to say that Trump was brutally shut down.

Trump was rambling on and finished his point. Media persons were shouting out more questions(hard to hear about what because they were all shouting over each other), Carney turned to Trump and seemingly said to him that he would like to step in and Trump nodded his agreement. Carney then spoke and said he was going to exercise his chairman’s role and move on.

Nothing brutal about it, politely done with the involvement of Trump. Which is exactly what I would expect from Carney, the man is a consummate experienced professional.
