Medical supplies shop (Not Fascino) (Pattaya area)

Featured Replies

Guys,

need your help, had lung surgery where they cut away half of my left lung and because of that i have difficulty walking because running out of breath.

now the phsyio in the hospital has advised me to buy a walker (see attached pic). My wife’s daughter went already to several stores including Fascino and she only found ones that are quiet small, in height wise. Max height she found was 90cm. And according to the physio i need something that is 1,10m in height minimum.

any ideas where to look for such a walker.

ps : we looked at lazada and they all will only be delivered somewhere next week and i need it rather urgently

I suggest you buy one even though it's too short, and have the adjustable bits made longer, lot's of local places can do  quickly and cheaply, if properly  supervised. PM me if you need help.

A couple of options that come to mind, dependent on your finances, are to find whatever you want from whoever has it in stock and then arrange to have it delivered by courier. No reason why you couldn't receive it tomorrow at the latest.

The other option, is to try OfficeMate. Yes, really 😊

that is sensible advise. Thanks for this.

i am released from hospital and went to look at the ones my wife’s daughter looked at and bought on of those as I could not wait any longer. It’s a bit too short, but I can live with that for now, as I can’t walk that far. Hopefully I am going home soon and will have my Bil’s son weld on something. But it must be made removable as we intend, when I don’t need it anymore, to give it to a person in our village who needs it more.

thx for the tip, appreciated
