Poor old Donald. He phones Putin, has a long chat, and then Putin launches the largest air attack against Ukraine since the start of the war!

Forgetting to mention that Ukraine tried to assassinate  Putin, killed civilians on a railway train and target Kirsch bridge again hence the retaliation.

But you are blaming Ukraine for doing something Russia has done many times (tried to kill Zelenskyy) and kill civilians (they've killed thousands) so why would you not call Russia out for doing that?

AI is not forbidden by AN, just dishonest use of it.

George Conway is usually spot on when it comes to Trump, and this time is no exception.

George Conway Flags Trump's Awkward New Admission As Fresh Proof He's 'A Fool’

https://www.yahoo.com/news/george-conway-flags-trumps-awkward-100944536.html

“There are hundreds, if not thousands, of reasons to believe that @realDonaldTrump is a fool,” Conway posted on X, the Elon Musk-owned platform formerly known as Twitter.

Then the lawyer zinged: “But the fact that it took almost a decade for him to figure out that Putin has been playing him for one is as good as any.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin is laughing at President Donald Trump, said one MSNBC host on Tuesday.

Trump has been asked about Putin and the state of the war against Ukraine after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth paused a weapons shipment to the war-torn country.

On Tuesday, when asked about the matter, Trump said, "We get a lot of bulls--- thrown at us by Putin, if you want to know the truth. He's very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless."

The optics of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio appearing friendly with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the ASEAN summit in Kuala Lumpur on July 10, 2025, are problematic for the U.S. given the ongoing Ukraine conflict. The warm exchange—smiling, handshaking, and arm-tapping—contrasts sharply with Russia’s intensified missile and drone attacks on Ukraine, including a deadly barrage on Kyiv that killed at least two people the same day. This could be perceived as undermining U.S. support for Ukraine, especially as President Trump has publicly expressed frustration with Russia’s lack of flexibility in peace talks. The friendly demeanor risks signaling a softening stance toward Russia, potentially alienating allies like Ukraine and European partners who are pushing for tougher sanctions on Moscow. However, Rubio’s team framed the meeting as a “frank and substantive” discussion focused on pressing for a roadmap to end the Ukraine war, suggesting an attempt to balance diplomacy with firmness. Still, the public display of cordiality may fuel skepticism about U.S. resolve, particularly among Ukrainians who already feel sidelined by U.S.-Russia talks.

Putin knows trump is a paper tiger he’s buoyed by trump’s betrayal of everything America stands for starting with trumps betrayal at helinsky.Putin knows even if it dawns on trump he’s being played trump can’t admit mistakes.so sure he XI little Kim and the like are celebrating.ponder this for a second if trump does decide to respond to Russia militarily then what….we have a president trying to dismantle our democracy and divide us,with the fact he’s mentally ill and would try to make all the military decisions……that’s a recipe for disaster.in my personal opinion.

Didn't Trump just take out Iran’s nuclear program?  No bad for a paper tiger.

Not the success trump claimed it to be......can't say that he intentionally lied, just that he talks without engaging his tiny brain.

"Israel has concluded that some of Iran’s underground stockpile of near-bomb-grade enriched uranium survived American and Israeli attacks last month and may be accessible to Iranian nuclear engineers, according to a senior Israeli official".
