Apparantly you need to fill a TM27 and TM30 form, and give it all to immigration within a day of moving?

Where can you get these forms from? And what other documents do you need for it? No wonder no properties get back to me cause they don't want the stress of getting documents for immigration on my behalf.

Forms @ Imm or online

Most immigration offices no longer require TM28 when moving, but some do.  The TM30 is a legal requirement for all stays, and can generally be used as proof of moving as well.  Your landlord would have to file that one for you.

The owner of place you are moving to will/should do a TM30.

Ask about the TM30 prior to renting.

It's a very simple thing for owner to complete.

or when u rent ask for ( both signed)
copy of landlords id card
copy of house book
POA ( power of attorney) from landlord

and do it urself at immigration or sign up online with these doc

In over 28 years of renting ( owned my own house for 12 years) have never had a landlord do it for me  🙂

Opposite for me.

Also the Thai partner has 5 rentals.

Currently two have farang.

She does TM30 for the non Thai tenants when requested.

Also for when they have non Thai staying with them.

Appreciate that guys, looks like TM30 is the main one here, I've heard you can just fill this yourself too, and online, that's where it asks to just attach the relevant files right?

The TM30 form must be submitted within 24 hours of your check-in at a new residence. This is usually the landlord’s responsibility, so you should check with them directly. It can be submitted either at the immigration office or via the online system, and the form is available on the immigration website or at the office. TM27 is only required if you’re submitting the TM30 manually at the immigration office, or if you’re changing an address that’s tied to your visa. So in most cases, especially with online TM30 submissions, you won’t need to worry about the TM27.

Thx guys, got TM30 now, just waiting to secure some accommodation now

Not sure what you mean.

If you obtain new accommodation then you will require another TM30

I do my own TM-30's.   Why should I bother my landlord to do when I am 15 minutes from my almost daily trip to 7-11, the IO is 5 minutes from the 7-11.  I do after our holiday trips, usually takes  5 to 10 minutes of my time during my super busy retirement days.

I want to protect my extension of stay.

All I say at the TM-30 office is, "returning home".  I have also done TM-30's for foreign visitors staying at our home - the last one 2 adults 1 child, with no problems.

Good for you.

What about folk that live a LONG way from immigration.

Also deal with very busy offices such as CW.

For some it's a half day + project.

forms are online from immigration.  Just google immigration forms and pick those you need and print them out.
