It was 1-1 after extra time then went to a penalty shootout which England won 3-1.

British Lions also battering the Aussies in the men's rugby union. Even gave them an 18 point lead in the last game to give them a chance but still beat them.

 

Probably could have fielded the England ladies football team though against the men's Aussie rugby team and still won.

The standard of the women's game is atrocious. That's not hating, it's just an accurate assessment. 

 

Which makes it particularly galling to have to listen to women footballers with grating Essex accents critiquing the likes of Rodri, Salah or Cole Palmer on MOTD.

Agree the standard is not as high as men's but it is hardly "atrocious" and the matches can be quite exciting with less of the theatrics of the men.

But men's football is obviously a higher level.

Yes, I did mean British and Irish Lions.

 

However, you are incorrect. There are currently 16 Irish players in the squad compared to 22 British so, most of the squad/team is not Irish.
