Is the rooftop swimming pool at Mike's Shopping Mall still open? That was a very popular place for the down-on-their-luck farangs to meet with their fate. If the company at the AN Christmas bash gets all too soul destroyingly depressing, slipping quietly away and over the side is an easy option. Being on the top floor, you don't hear the traffic or the screams from below.

I think Pattaya winning reflects what brought most of here to Thailand in the first place.

I remember my first trip, arriving at night heading down North Road and laying eyes on the beach at night for the first time which looks better at night than during the day.

The first Gogo I saw was on Beach Road near Soi 7 and 8. I think it is a restaurant now, if anybody can remember the name of it please refresh my memory.

As soon as I checked in the hotel I rushed back there and saw the beautiful Mot (which means Ant) working her magic on the chrome pole and I knew we were meant to be together. She told me she got her name because her Dad was wondering what to call her and he saw an ant.

I paid the fine to take her out of the bar. I had never been with such a beauty, silky but firm skin that felt rubbery.

I admit I got over exited and prematurely ejaculated because of my enthusiasm.

Next morning she gazed into my eyes and she said wanted to stay with me the whole two weeks of my trip.

How could I say no? Her English was really good.

So we went back to the gogo that afternoon and I paid her barfines for the whole two weeks.

She took me all over, to Koh Larn, to Jomtien, to eat seafood at Bang Saen beach, some Navy beach at Sattahip, to Walking Steet, taught me about Thai food and culture, mango and sticky rice on Central Road, noodle soup, grilled chicken, sea bass with lemon and chilli and Tom Yum with Prawns.

At night we went to Excite disco on third road where she knew a lot of people and Marine bar and Tonys on Walking street dancing the nights away.
She had a friend from her hometown who worked in a gay gogo on Soi 13 so we often visited him there also.
We went shopping for clothes at Mike’s plaza and I bought her a little frog with a stick that made frog noises.

After the two weeks we were both in love so I promised I would return as soon as possible to be with her again. On the last day I gave her 1,500 thb so she could take care of herself and she promised me she wouldn’t go with any other customers at work, but would just get tips for lady drinks until I got back.

We got each others emails and I missed her as soon as the flight took off.

Back in cold Blighty I missed her terribly and couldnt wait to see her again but she asked me for money so I stopped answering her emails.

I sometimes wonder how she is going these days.

Ah yes, the classic Pattaya tosser epic, certainly nothing pedestrian about this bell-end chronicle. Boy meets girl, girl meets barfine, boy meets ATM withdrawal limit. The sightseeing, the seafood, the frog noise stick… truly a cultural exchange program for the ages. Then came the plot twist no one in human history could have foreseen, she asked for money. Astonishing. Heartbreaking. I’m sure Mot remembers you too, much like one remembers a festering groin rash that finally went away with immense relief. Still, two weeks of romance on a Cheap Charlie budget and a masterclass in why “true love” in Pattaya generally comes with a lightening of the wallet is a triumph only in the mind of a proper mug.

You could hold at the best tourist attraction in Pattaya, possibly all of Thailand.   Has seating, CHEAP ALCOHOL, diverse continental menu (items) :cheesy:

That's right, I'm talking about the 'World's Largest" ... possibly best ...

Enough seating for all the trolls 😎

That 7eleven does not sell alcohol

I don't know why, it's not located on a motorway, maybe it's owned by Muslims 🤔

That's quite surprising, though possibly a good move, as don't want a bunch of CC drunks hanging out all night upstairs.  Though probably some ordinance about drinking in a 7-11.

It is a nice venue, lots of outdoor seating to.

You could be right regarding ordinance in a 7eleven.

There's a 7eleven on Dongtan Beach, it has an upstairs seating area, no alcohol drinking aloud upstairs.

Nice guy. You probably liked that she would wait and not work, but didn´t understand that she needed to make money from somewhere.

She could have got a job that didn’t require her to perform sexual acts on sex tourists.

But yes, now that I know a little more I understand why she looked disappointed when I gave her the 1,500 after the two weeks. It worked out at about 100 baht per day or 4 baht per hour.

Instead of putting everyone down it would be more interesting for you to tell us about your first time in Thailand.

I think we have all made newbie mistakes.

I doubt you will though because engaging on this forum is all about point scoring.

I like traveling. We could make it a rolling tour on different dates for those who were up for it.

Pattani got a few votes also so we could kick off in Chiang Mai and finish in Pattani.

Oh, don't cry now Malcom. It's not very posh. Plus your man-god Nigel wouldn't be very impressed.

Political discussions are fully permitted with only two caveats:

1- You can only claim right to being a real MAGA if you're a Yank.
2 - All physical altercations resulting from political disagreements must be conducted outside in the rear of the venue with Bob standing in as MC.

Why would you ever want to leave your dingy field hut in that exciting paradise where you reside in the northeast, surrounded by peasants?

Doubt that more than 20 people will be coming a only 19 votes for the place and don't think that many people will travel much to get there.

Easy for people in BKK and Patts. Good excuse for a weekend out. Without a plan, it is hard to schedule though.

Pattaya has won the day by quite a margin. Surprisingly Phuket was the least popular with only a single vote!

Looks like over 80 people are coming now. Hopefully we get a few more signing up and get over one hundred.

Anyway I don’t know Pattaya very well so would be helpful to hear from the expats who live there.

So any suggestions where would be the best venue?

Should we have a round of golf during the day  up at Siam Country Club? Or just hit the Gentleman’s clubs? Or Soi 6?

Soi Buakao/Lenkee at night or the famous Walking Street?
Cherry’s Buffet for dinner? Or maybe a members restaurant?

All suggestions considered so we cater for everyone and their WAGS.

Good you understand, because what you engaged in, was a woman with such work. In such case, you must be a man who understands. The work she did, gave her more than most other works, and that´s why she did it.
