I happy to buy lady drink if I was at the bar.   I'm not going to boom boom so an extra 50 baht in her pocket no big deal for me.   Money not an issue but showing some support better. 

 

Why not just give 50 baht cash?  That's an option.  But that's not what they hired for.

One drink for one lady who keeps you company for a bit. But what I don't like is the ladies that have 4 companions at different places at the same time running up and down.

Two types of bar, ones where the girls are employed by the bar to get you to buy drinks and girls. 

Or the other type, bars where the girls are just female customers out for a good time. 

I stopped wasting my time in the former and now, if I were to go to a bar it would be the latter type. 

Unfortunately the latter type is far less common in Bangkok when compared to places like Hong Kong and Singapore.
