Pattaya’s Beach Road turned into a mobile dance floor when a group of lively Indian tourists hijacked a songthaew for a full-blown Bollywood bash! Pulsing beats filled the air as the city’s neon lights set the scene for an unforgettable impromptu celebration.

 

Videos of the exuberant spectacle show tourists joyfully dancing on the back of the moving vehicle, creating an unforgettable scene against Pattaya's shimmering shoreline. Onlookers couldn’t help but join the fun, cheering enthusiastically and pulling their phones out to capture the moment.

 

While many revelled in the moment’s carefree spirit, some locals and drivers weren’t as pleased. Traffic disruptions sparked safety concerns, with one motorbike taxi driver expressing worry about emergency vehicle access. A social media critic dubbed it “chaos, not tourism”, adding fuel to the debate.

 

Despite differing opinions, some witnesses found the scene infectious. An expat commented, “It was noisy but full of happiness. Those tourists were enjoying themselves immensely, reported the Pattaya Mail.

 

 

Pattaya police acknowledged the incident, stating that no arrests were made but promising closer surveillance to prevent further traffic disruptions. Once the music stopped, the tourists vacated the area peacefully, according to local reports.

 

The incident shines a spotlight on Pattaya’s increasing appeal as a getaway for Indian tourists, who flock to the city for its vibrant parties and celebrations. Local businesses welcome the colourful influx but emphasise concerns about maintaining safety and order amid the excitement.

A lot of the prostitutes are complaining. Apparently, these guys arrange app hookups, then when they get to the room one guy answers then they find out later there are other dudes hiding on the balcony or in the bathroom. They come in after the deed gets going and ask for 3 for 1 offers, etc.

 

They don't do anything alone. There is always some other dude around...

Go back home and do that.  If people want Indian things, they would travel to India, not Thailand.  Most people go to Thailand to experience Thailand things

Even worse is in BKK, the agree to a price, then when finished, refused to pay full price.  

 

I despised those people from that country.

You think they want to go  home?  Look at India, the air pollution, the garbage, the sewers, the disease and the overpopulation and racism against their own darks skin people.  I would live in North Korea or Burma or Belarus instead of going near India.

The new temples are some great location just outside of town. It's just a coincidence the living situation happens to be within easy access to pattaya center.

Parts of it is hell (urban areas), but amazing desert, mountain and beach parts...land of extreme filth and jaw-dropping beauty.
