I feel for those Americans that haven't gone down the MAGA rabbit hole, and they are, after all, roughly half the electorate/population. It must be tough to see your country head towards banana republic/tinpot dictatorship status.

But if the effects of the Trump s*** show had been at a national level only I would gladly have left you to it. But for me the real tragedy are the global repercussions of this sick joke of an administration. In a time where democracies need to stand together more than ever the chief clown and his under-clowns manage to divide rather than unite, and actively so.

Sanctions blackmail? All Putin needs to do is withdraw for the sanctions to be lifted. Alternatively, he could be thrown out of a high floor window, like so many of his political opponents.
