I feel it's self explanatory but I sense in some political posters a sense of toxicity and seriousness and often a self righteousness that is so over wrought and over the top that it's worth offering comment.

I don't think my posts are toxic. I don't think most posters on Asean Now are toxic. There is a handful of posters that use very extreme language and have a degree of nastiness that I think is toxic. Those regular posters who fit that category on this site  happen to be on the right and support Trump. I don't think that is a coincidence. 

That is not to say that  a lot of right leaning  posters are this way, or that posters on both sides are not prone to error, silly posts, a bit of toxicity, etc.
