^ What is that nonsense ?

Some edited interview cut and pasted to give  different meaning

Post the full uncut unedited video

The nonsense is actually coming from you. Typical MAGA denial of reality.

Kilmeade apologizes for remarks on homelessness, mental illness

https://www.foxnews.com/video/6379403917112

I'm sure he was very sincere in his apology which is why it took him about 4 days to get around to it. Also, I didn't notice any calls from the MAGA community for Kilmeade to be fired on account of his remarks. Or for that matter for his 2 co-hosts, neither of whom objected to his repugnant comment, to be called to account

The no more cancel culture crowd are apparently totally ok with Kirk critics being cancelled.  So it's ok when they do it.

Yeah, that was pretty easy to forget because there was not a huge celebration like now.

Please post links to celebrations…….I haven’t seen any…..I have seen criticism of Kirk’s crackpot ideas tho perhaps you are attempting to conflate that into celebration?

Instructions have been received 🙂

No, in that posted video he did not suggest killing the homeless, the obviously spuriously edited discussion was about the crazed, mentally ill who needed to be institutionalised because of the danger they pose to normal people.

No, I was not talking about the people lying about Charlie Kirk, I was talking about people celebrating his death.

Well, you know why they'll say that?...because, in the posted video, he did not say "kill the homeless"!

If you're not fit to meet the basic standards of society then you should be allowed in.

Liberals used to say that this happened because Ronald Reagan closed the asylums but they've had decades to reopen them and haven't done so and now Trump is suggesting bringing them back.

People really need to get together and find a reasonable solution to this that doesn't involve killing them or allowing to cause problems for the rest of us.

No. Liberals didn't used to say that. Since when are asylums part of the  federal system?

The law was changed back in the '80s such that people could no longer be institutionalizes against their will, so they all got let out.

The results were not ideal (as is often the case with stuff the left pushes) so the left blamed Reagan.

What law was it that got changed in the 80's?

It is a misconception that laws were changed in the 1980s to prevent people from being institutionalized against their will , Yellow tail knows very little of what he chirps about.

. In reality, the most significant changes happened earlier, and the '80s saw federal budget cuts that complicated community-based care. A landmark 1975 Supreme Court decision, O'Connor v. Donaldson, was a pivotal factor in establishing that a person could not be involuntarily committed if they were not a danger to themselves or others and could live safely on their own

The Mental Health Systems Act of 1980 (MHSA) was legislation signed by Jimmy Carter which provided grants to community mental health centers.

Reagan effectively cut and repealed most of the Mental Health Systems Act of 1980 (MHSA) in 1981 through the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA).

My comment was based on the video content that was part of the OP...

("...because, in the posted video...")...

and was 100% accurate in that context so it will age particularly well.

Watch the video again that was posted in the OP (the only thing that I commented on) and tell me the time slot in which he said "Kill the homeless".  "The homeless" were not referenced at all.

Sounds like someone Sugessted " The Final Solution " once favoured by Hitler.

Yep. Hitler murdered the mentally ill and homeless as well.

The F in Fox "News" may as well stand for Fascism.

Just watch it though, that death panel with face no consequences for this.

Trump will probably praise them.

The whole conversation was about the homeless, and you know that, you are just a pedant

With maga, cruelty is the point.

To those who've been paying attention, this escalation towards advocating mass industrialized murder of out group fellow Americans is not surprising in the least.

There are a bunch of long standing accounts here whose main purpose appears to be to intentionally spread disinformation.  It's not hard to figure out who they are.  No idea why they continue to allow them to post.

So can you explain to us why Kilmeade apologized?

Well, some people who have stated their hostile and true beliefs about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, have been met with hostility and worse. . Why the outrage?

"Jones was talking on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday about public money spent on trying to help homeless people and suggested that those who didn’t accept services offered to them should be jailed."

“Or involuntary lethal injection, or something,” Kilmeade said. “Just kill ‘em.”

To whom do you think " 'em" refers to? Do you think it's the equivalent of the "x" in algebra where it could mean anything?
