And while he did not directly link the murder to the fact that she made fun at Kirk's murder, he posted a video on the same day, before the murder, in which he claims he's been harassing her because of that. His own words! So it's not a certainty, but it's not an extravagant suspicion.

Well I maybe missing something but none of that suggests to me that her mocking the death of kirk was the sole reason for him killing her.

 He may well use it as the primary reason when he gets to court though,   As it sounds less pathetic than something along the lines of "  I killed her because I'm a pathetic virgin who has serious issues  with women she didn't want me and If I can't have her then nobody can
