How can you be bored when, since you joined our Forum in February, 9 months, you have posted 12.6k times, which is almost 50 per day, which allowing for 8 hours sleep, is 3 per hour, every hour for nine months. How do you have time to be bored thinking up your one-line answers? 555

A bit bored myself, obviously, 6:30 and on AN.   Wife playing with her 'chemistry' set, dog laying next to me, as we took our walk already.   No torrents downloaded or going to be.  Dark out, so off to YT in a moment, have a chuckle, maybe learn something.

 

Just having a therapy session is enough for me ... all is good in our world.

Books to read, movies and TV shows to watch, civilization VI to play, music to listen.

A trip to the park, and walk around the lake, cycling in the jungle and mountains.

Cooking for me and my son, rabbits to play with, forums to read.

 

I'm 100% occupied.

I have a talent for not being bored, but it took a while to develop this. I used to go to party and a girl would ask me if I was bored, and :I was, but it was because I did not engage in the party, I was not fully present in the moment.

 

There are miracles happening around you if you open  your eyes.

Yes, you can literally see the hours slipping away with Civilization. Other games like FC24/25/26 are a quick 12 minute game

 

Unfortunately the Canadians and Romanians did not do such a good job with the FC franchise. And I've not seen cinematic delights like Uncharted for a while.

SADLY, This is a BIG problem for expats living in Thailand. 

Sometimes I don't know how they survive without close friends, family and loved ones. 

 

Thailand been my home for decades, lots of close friends and family, they give me the energy to survive. 

 

I see Vloggers, Dan about Thailand etc talking about cheap, cheap, cheap. 

 

What the f**k is cheap without family and friends? 

 

It can be a hollow, worthless life.

I can remember being bored only once in the past 10 years.  I was transferring through the airport at Guangzhou and my next flight was delayed 6 hours.  Airport was packed. no available chairs to sit.   Shops closed for the night.  Nowhere to sleep or relax.   Standing around waiting to get out of there is the most boring memory I have.

I'm not noticing my boredom anymore.

 

I exercise 5-6 days a week, work a few hours almost every day, eat 3 full meals and 3 in-between meals, I'm here to much dropping by, travelling between different places, caring for my mom while in Norway and caring for the farm and animals when in Thailand when we are not traveling. Actually am more bored at Holidays, but I never did lay flat out on holidays, I always did something, but less the older I get, since I'm not up to climbing, padling, diving or motorbiking as I used to. I do exercise and swim when holidays and try to read a bit.

I manage do go to and be at gym while here, walking wife in the forest, sitting on the ferry or just anytime. Doesn't mean I do nothing else than being here

Man, I miss my pups 🐶 How’d you manage to convince the missus to let the dog sleep on the bed? I let mine on only when she’s not around.

Didn't have to convince her at all.  I was actually against having a dog, and she was neutral, and against on the furniture, let alone the bed.  My dogs always slept with me.

 

She was never around a properly trained dog, and now realizes the difference, as not something simply to have and show, but a family memeber.   So no problem with the dog sleeping with us.  We even taught her dog, though that took a while to fully understand 

Bored .. I wish I had time to be bored ,cannot understand anyone been bored , they must not have a very 

fertile mind ....so much to do , so much to learn . some people on here are so bored ,they point out any

small spelling mistakes you make ....what a life 😬

Right now I'm reading about nasal breading exercises. While free diving we did alot of breathing exercises, and now I'm back in to breathing exercises, and stretching in the morning, so always a good reason to pick up some new techniques or just refreshing my memory. 

 

It's all about keeping your reality alive, and non stop keeping your brain busy and away from negativity and negative thoughts that is so easy to cultivate
