Why is Trump rarely called out on his hypocrisy?

The man was convicted of massive fraud against Deutsche Bank, he then goes on to try to prosecute the woman who led the case. The man brought boxes and boxes of highly sensitive and classified information back to his home in Mar-A-Lago, and now he's accusing John Bolton of improperly handling a few files here and there.

The list of double standards in hypocrisy is a mile long and very few seem to be calling him out on it.

Fortunately a few courageous souls are speaking out, but not enough.

Kirk’s assassination has sparked a polarizing debate about free speech across the country.

“You hope that a year from now, the turmoil we're seeing in the aftermath of his murder won't be leveraged to bring hate speech laws to this country,” Carlson said Wednesday during a special edition of The Tucker Carlson Show in tribute to Kirk.

“And trust me, if it is, if that does happen, there is never a more justified moment for civil disobedience than that, ever. And there never will be,” the pundit added. “Because if they can tell you what to say, they're telling you what to think...There is nothing they can't do to you because they don't consider you human.”

Even MTG is pushing back.

Over the past six months, Greene has made waves in Washington for publicly breaking with Trump and the GOP on a number of high-profile issues and lobbing some pointed attacks at her fellow Republicans in the process. She was critical of the Trump administration’s strikes on Iran, referred to the situation in Gaza as a “genocide,” signed her name to an effort to force a House vote to require the Justice Department to release its files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case and, most recently, sided with Democrats in calling for an extension of Affordable Care Act subsidies amid the government shutdown fight.

And now even Joe Rogan speaks out. Will we see more courage and moral conviction now that the blockade against criticizing this wannabe overlord is broken?

“When you’re just arresting people in front of their kids, and just, normal, regular people who have been here for 20 years. That everybody who has a heart can’t get along with that. Everybody who has a heart sees that and goes, ‘That can’t be right.’

Fortunately there are a few that seem to be listening to their own moral compass, and are now feeling confident enough to speak out.

In March, just two months after Trump was sworn in to his second term, Rogan reviewed several news reports about the U.S. deporting asylum-seekers to countries that they were not from, including one case of a gay makeup artist from Venezuela who was sent to a prison in El Salvador.

“If you want compassionate people to be on board with you, you can’t deport gay hairdressers seeking asylum — that’s f-----g crazy — and then throw them in an El Salvador prison,” Rogan said.

In July, Rogan again called it “f-----g crazy” that the Trump administration had detained Tufts University student Rümeysa Öztürk partially because of an editorial she had written calling on her university’s leadership to divest from companies with ties to Israel.

Schulz and Von over the summer also broke with Trump over his administration’s moves to downplay the importance of the Epstein files, as well as over the administration’s continued support for Israel as it conducted its offensive in Gaza.

“Obviously the intelligence community is trying to cover it up, obviously the Trump administration is trying to cover up,” Schulz said when talking about the Epstein files with his co-hosts in a July episode of “Flagrant.”

“He is rebuking the base, like, almost spitting in their face. They are asking for it. He campaigned on it,” Schulz added.

Meanwhile, Von’s May comments calling Israel’s attacks on Gaza a “genocide” garnered millions of views.

A few weeks later, Von hosted Vice President JD Vance on his show and told him directly that the videos he was seeing from Gaza were “the sickest thing” and that “where it gets scary is that we give, you know, we’re complicit in it because we help fund, like, military stuff. Sometimes it feels like we look out for the interest of Israel before we look out for the interest of America,” Von added.

Hypocricy is everywhere .   Always has been ..... just everything is super-charged nowadays .

People who only see "the other side"  as hypocrites are the worst offenders .

Though he's already largely forgotten, even Charlie Kirk was turning away from some Trump policies. A few days before his murder, Kirk participated in a group chat where he (TPUSA) announced he had lost $2 million in funding from Israel, and that he was considering giving up his support for what Israel was doing in Gaza.

The group chat transcript was posted, and other participants in the chat corroborate its veracity, including Kirk's best friend and one of the top people in TPUSA.

It wouldn’t wash in other countries. He wouldn’t even be considered to be a candidate.

But Americans are a bit different.

They fill stadiums full of WWE/WWF fans who bizarrely take it seriously.

If you watch a couple of episodes of Jerry Springer you can see these people are not the full baht.

They love shooting each other with daily mass shootings.

They enjoy fentanyl and walking around like zombies.

They prefer listening to what they want to hear as opposed to the actual truth.

By voting in Trump, not once, but twice Darwin’s theory of evolution is slowly taking care of the situation.

Why is Trump rarely called out on his hypocrisy?

That's not true, the MSM calls him out on everything. But either way, I DON'T CARE.

Thursday's ruling does not overturn Judge Arthur Engoron's finding in 2023 that Mr Trump padded financial statements that went to lenders and insurers.

The ruling spares the US president from having to pay the hefty fine but bans him and his two eldest sons from serving in corporate leadership for a few years.

In a later statement, New York Attorney-General Letitia James said she would appeal the ruling to a higher court.

Biggest problem is that the SCOTUS has DJT majority and they have given him immunity for the most part.  I saw one of the Congressional hearings on the DOJ and their actions.  On the question of the FBI reportedly has mentioned that they have photos of Epstein w/ Trump and a scantily clad young lady but the DOJ bitch refused to respond the same as she did on other questions about the 50K in cash within a brown paper bag that the FBI gave to the ICE Czar - she would only say that there were no laws broken but the congressfolks kept asking well did the FBI get the money back or did the ICE Czar claim it on his taxes but she refused to answer anymore on that issue.  I also so a video of the DJT "toupee" almost blowing totally off his head in a strong wind - no question that he is basically bald on top.  He continues to show his hipocrisy by ordering the DOJ to bring legal cases against his "enemies" for the same thing he is famous for doing! and in most cases much more damaging to the image of the leader of the USA IMHO.

He did not declassify them. Oh, and he cannot do that with his mind.

Not even the President can declassify RD documents. Only the DoE can. Also, even to view them one must have a (the real) Q clearance.

Obviously no HCS documents were declassified. HCS is human clandestine sources, and they reveal the identity of existing foreign sources whose lives, as well as their families' lives, would be in jeopardy if their identities were revealed.

There is a set procedure for declassification which requires the sign off of the pertinent agency chief. Yes, Trump today could get one of his Carnival People to sign off, but in his first Administration, there is no way DCI Gina Haspel would have signed off on ANY HCS document.

MAGAs who get their 'alternative facts' from Fake News like Fox or OAN have no clue what damage control had to be done when it was discovered all the documents Trump stole and what they contain. Clandestine assets had to be ex-filled just to keep them and their families safe, which also means the US lost valuable long term sources.

You have no friggin clue. Just a cultist with zero knowledge of the facts.

At least the bimbo is smart enough not to perjure herself.

Author Michael Wolfe claims to have seen a photo of Epstein and Trump with topless underage girls (shown to him, he says, by Epstein himself). Bondi was asked about that, as it would be in the file. She dodged the simple "Yes/No" question, which kind of suggests it's real. Notice they haven't gone after Wolfe, because indicting him for anything would lead to "discovery".

It's part and parcel of the MAGA attempt to block all Epstein files. The little Speaker refuses to swear in an elected Dem House member, because her vote, along with the few Republicans who will also vote to release the files (Massie, Green), the truth would come out.

What damage can top secret documents do? That's very hard question to answer!

"Why were the docs returned?"

Why top secret documents were returned to the government? Because they were stole, Einstein.

"Why did the FBI have to plant and stage evidence for photo a photo shoot?"

Liar.

Once it became clear that Mar-a-Pedo was full of top secret documents President Biden should have gone in with full force and thrown Trump's fat orange butt in a Leavenworth jail cell, and thrown away the key.

The US and the world would have been much better off today if he had.

Ex FBI boss Wray is in deep too and likely getting some "good news" soon and currently under investigation by the DOJ  for allegations of document mishandling, obstruction of justice, false statements to Congress, and national security risks tied to the disposal of sensitive materials. Lol! You did not even read it! 🤣🤣🤣

Calling others simpletons! 😆

Here's two extracts for you!

Custody and Control of Presidential Records

Policies concerning the custody of presidential materials informs the way such information is controlled, accessed, and released during and after a President's time in office. Prior to the PRA's enactment, presidential papers were traditionally the private property of the President, who would then donate the materials to institutions for public consumption. The PRA fundamentally changed the status of presidential records as publicly owned materials.24

The PRA is explicit: "The United States shall reserve and retain complete ownership, possession, and control of Presidential records; and such records shall be administered in accordance with the provisions of this chapter."25 In passing the PRA, Congress required that "public access to the materials would be consistent under standards fixed in law."26 The PRA provides records maintenance requirements and permissions depending on whether a presidency is in progress or has concluded.

And in particular this one:

After a Presidency

After a presidency, the responsibility for the custody, control, preservation of, and access to presidential records shifts to the Archivist.32 Additionally, statute requires the Archivist to make the former President's records publicly available as rapidly and as completely as possible.

https://www.congress.gov/crs-product/R46129

As to the documents, they were returned to him after he became President again, and is allowed to keep them until the end of his mandate. After that, NARA must kerp them!

In my opinion the US press is rather timid and lazy, whatever Trump says goes on the news like its a god send truth. None of those reporters come prepared when asking a question. He (and the rest of the GOP) go off on a mumble jungle of words that hardly have to do with the question, tell you to read some reports because you're dumb. So when they do read said report they see the report is not actually what the GOP/Trump is saying. They are lying through their teeth but the journo is to late. Would never happen in Europe.
