Thank you. I wish I was young enough to serve my country and help remove the criminal terrorists that your ilk allowed to invade our country.

But imagine the fear the people must have felt when he pointed the gun at them while gripping it between his thumb and index finger.

Netizens will be out in force again, demanding the immediate revocation of visa free entry, and the recriminalization of cannabis.

The problem is that some folks dont know their limitations.  If you are smoking bhang and then get some 31% in your bong? Bye bye.

One of my fav things to do at the smokers table is to whip out the legit USA concentrates on an unsuspecting Eurohippie. Boom, Ive see heads hit the table.

You drink Bhang, muppet...

Whats the one you smoke, flamer? Ganja? Its still ditchweed, you get the analagy right?

It could have been a derringer pistol.

Even a Derringer is way bigger than that and looks completely different... that cigarette lighter is tiny and clearly a mini Colt 1911 impersonation. Looks like you could barely get your pinky on the trigger unless you are about 12 years-old. He's clearly a nutcase though... more quality tourists, as usual.

So stating the 'bloody' obvious???..........:coffee1:

He was shouting “Where are the Ladyboys?”

If the intelligence level here is that low that somebody would consider the 2 inch toy to a gun and be shaken and disturbed / this place has real more serious problems. And the fact that the police actually arrested him.
People are really starting to stretch what reality is

Perhaps dude wanted to get arrested, due to severe mental-health issues. This is his way of getting treatment, maybe.

so cannabis rears its ugly head again ?

really?   does it ?  Are you sure?  Personally I beg to differ,so read on..

Because  If they used the standard roadside / workplace  urine test , and its odds on that is what they did use, it only  detects non psychoactive metabolites of cannabis,  it proves nothing ,  other than that he had  ingested cannabis at sometime ,previously , possibly as long as weeks ago .

It is not  I repeat , not ,a test for intoxication at any level, it is actually only fit for purpose as a "lifestyle" test

It’s not the size that matters, it’s how you use it!

You're right, there are mini pistols that fire only one shot.
But that one could be fatal!
Most of the commenters here are just writing nonsense because they have no idea.

Eeeeeeh never 😱

In the United States no one would have noticed, open carry and mass shootings have become so commonplace as to no longer be noteworthy, let alone the perfunctory "thoughts and prayers".

Shoppers and tourists in Bangkok’s Siam Square were left alarmed on the afternoon of 13 October when a 41-year-old Indian tourist, caused a public disturbance by shouting and waving what appeared to be a gun. The incident occurred around 16:00 in front of the Novotel Hotel, prompting an immediate response from security staff and police. No injuries were reported, and authorities later confirmed the weapon was a small model gun, not a real firearm.

Witnesses described scenes of panic as the man, appearing visibly agitated, paced around the busy shopping area while shouting incoherently. He then drew the miniature handgun and brandished it in front of startled bystanders, causing pedestrians and nearby shoppers to flee for safety. Security personnel quickly intervened, subduing the man and confiscating the fake weapon before handing him over to officers from Pathumwan Police Station.

Police from Pathumwan Station later confirmed the man’s identity as a 41-year-old Indian tourist, Sahil Ram Thadani. He was charged with committing acts that harass, threaten or cause distress to others and with making threats that cause fear. Officers conducted an on-site inspection of the seized item and verified it was a non-functional model gun incapable of firing live rounds.

Authorities also performed a drug test, which detected cannabis in the suspect’s system. Investigators believe this may have contributed to his erratic behaviour during the incident. The man was escorted from the scene without further resistance and officers worked to restore calm in the area following the brief disruption. Authorities said they will continue questioning the man and will proceed with legal action in accordance with the law.

Key Takeaways

• An Indian tourist was arrested after waving a model gun in Siam Square on 13 October.
