Bolton will probably not be convicted. If he gets convicted, I will not cry about a Republican being convicted, in particular due to his involvement in the Republican Irak scam! 😆

Neither would I, Bolton is a digusting sleazebag. If he were go to jail it's another good deed by Trump.

He just needs to get Richard Perle and Wolfowitz now.

  • Evidently not. He sent top secret information via unsecured communications and stored docs in his home at same time decrying Trump for doing that.    Trump documents far safer than Bolton's.

Yes, I gather Biden too had witnessed Bolton being investigated for mishandlng of classified information.

From that same Abbe Lowell statement:

We look forward to proving once again that Amb. Bolton did not unlawfully share or store any information.”

Oh well, I guess it will boost his book sales. Asia Books is apparently sold out..

Hard to believe since Bolton sent thousands of pages to his relatives.

And wrote a book giving away inside information.

Are there any reasonable prosecutors in the DOJ willing to try the newly indicted case?

I will just attorney Lowell is aware of that when he made that statement.

A statement by jewish lawyer Abbe Lowell is hardly worth anything under the circumstances, he HAS to paint things in Bolton's favour, since he's Bolton's lawyer.

Not exactly impartial information, lol.

The prosecution doesn't have to be impartial either up to Brady-time. Even at the grand jury, the prosecution does not have to offer exculpatory info.

Abbe Lowell is no doubt a fine a lawyer, he has represented the Trump family after all.

However, Thomas Sullivan leads a prosecution team of 5 lawyers.. And he has an excellent chance of winning the case against Abbe Lowell.

Quote

Bolton is charged with 18 counts of retaining and transmitting classified information, dating back to his time in Trump’s White House. He allegedly shared the information with family members who didn’t have security clearances.

Since Bolton DID share classified information with his family members who did not have security clearance, surely there's a fair chance the prosecution team can win this case.

Not just that:

A judge once suggested Bolton might have broken the law

That Bolton is facing charges isn’t nearly as surprising. In fact, a federal judge back in 2020 basically warned of exactly that.

US District Judge Royce Lamberth ruled in Bolton’s favor in a civil case stemming from a dispute with the Trump administration over the publication of Bolton’s book. But Lamberth otherwise excoriated Bolton for his handling of classified information.

Lamberth said in his ruling that Bolton “likely jeopardized national security by disclosing classified information in violation of his nondisclosure agreement obligations.”

CNN have done a good job to weed out the differences between the Comey and the Bolton indictments, Trump actually was not instrumental in pushing for Bolton's indictment.

Very few will lament the demise of Bolton.

He deserves everything that's coming his way. And there will be quite a lot. Bolton has a very big mouth, and it would be suprising if he did not not overshoot the bounds of legality, as well as propriety, at some point.

Wrong! You made stuff up again! 🤣

According to Oxford language, it's: "give or hand over (something) in exchange for money".

According to Cambridge dictionary it's: to give something to someone else in return for money

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/sell#google_vignette

Otherwise it's barter or exchange. So what did he get from the ghost writer? Fruits, meat? 🤣

Are you claiming Biden did not give the ghostwriter classified document(s)?

Or are you just concerned about how much he gat paid?

He was working for Biden at the time, so it could have been a souvenir as part of his compensation. In ant event, he got it from Biden.

Bolton says Trump 'unfit' to be President in new memoir intro
Updated January 30, 2024

"Trump is unfit to be president," Bolton wrote in the new foreword to "The Room Where it Happened," his account of the 17 months he spent as Trump's national security adviser. "If his first four years were bad, a second four will be worse."

While Trump casts himself as the underdog's champion, once saying "for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution," Bolton argues he is fundamentally self-regarding.

"Trump really cares only about retribution for himself, and it will consume much of a second term," he wrote in the forward to the paperback edition of his memoir, which painted a bleak picture of America during a second Trump term.

Well, he was quite wrong, as usual, wasn't he?

This has to be the best presidency in living memory. Now Antifa are being actively pursued as well. Dreams come true.

I don't remember the investigation report stating that he gave classified documents to the ghost writer.

(And the ghost writer did not pay him. He was paid by Biden.)

Fell free to prove your claim!

It's a propaganda lie, again!

Did Bolton have access to secret information that would jeopardize national security, such as the senior people attending Jeffrey Epstein's parties?

Judge Aileen Cannon threw out the case based on her saying Special Consul Smith was not a valid appointment.

Nothing to do with the boxes.

A word of advice. Don't call someone a dullard then proceed to ramble on with illegible sentences that make absolutely no sense.

I feel sorry for you at times.

Like much of the Dem lawfare  aficionado's in the past ten years.

They knew the rules but broke them.
