It made a point, as did the bombing of Gaza. The disproportionate nature of Israel's bombing of Gaza was completely unnecessary, and the same argument could be made of Dresden. 

 

However you could certainly make an argument that the German people deserved that bombing a lot more than the Gazans. 

It didn't start on October 7th and it won't end with October 7th. The world is awake.
