At your age..........

I can confirm the cocktail bar scene in Chiang Mai has really upped the ante, so if you do come up  I'll take you for some Negronis.

There's still the depressing ladymeat bars, but there's also real classy action to be had.. Lot's of 5 star hotels. Buriram and Roi Et can't offer that.

There's always Daisuki by Lolita!

Most of the girls have come down to Udon from the outlining villages now with more turning up with the christmas holidays coming up. A lot of the bars in Nutty Park have been updated and busy now a friend told me who frequents them reguler.

Recommendation here for Buriram.

It has everything including an airport.

So does Udon Thani (but no decent football team).

Satuek Airport is in burirum!

I lived in surin for 6 years before. The only reason i stayed there was my exwife and our 2 kids lived there.

I brought them to my country 18 years ago.Still live here.

I will never ever settle down in the rural areas again.Even i speak thai well it was wery boring. At 8 pm the whole village went totally dark and quiet.Anyway i go visit my kids grandparents everytime im back in Thailand but just for a day.The last years i stays in Bangkok and hua-hin.Suits me perfect.

So, why did you post that Satuk airport is in Buriram when the comment you quoted had already said Buriram has an airport?

Hmmm!

That statement conflicts with your reply to me.

How is the air during the burning season

Nong Khai is not too bad, sometimes the burning comes across the river from laos

I thought it was Lop Buri, not Buri Ram, but my memory may not be as good as some peoples’  🧠🧠

I think this man is right.

Roi Et is big enough to find everything you need.  What we don't appear to have is:

- Russians
- Indians
- Drunk foreigners causing issues (no frequent mentions in Aseannow news)
- A big red light district

However, if you can survive without these, I think you'll be fine. 😉

No Lancashire black pudding either.

Could have been.

Isaan for sure.

Much less cheating there compared to places like Hua Hin or Phuket. Also when dealing with the locals on daily issues, they are much more decent up there and not spoilt with all the falangs comming and throwing money and not comparing prices properly etc etc. like in Phuket, Bangkok or Hua Hin mainly.

Isaan is a great choice...

The royal Mekong hotel at nong khai , swimming pool , has a selection of nice short timers looking for action for a reasonable fee just so you know, you can pay the daily rate if your in the area

We get a lovely northeast breeze funnelling through our province from Laos during the dry season so it's only the local farmers who cause any issue with smoke...

A picture is worth a thousand words...  This is today's wind display for Thailand, and is typical of what we are now going to get for the next few months.

We are in the middle of the image, where the yellow bell icon is.
