Because what he is doing is too complex for you and anyone else to understand.   Why don't you admit that to yourself?    He is not a great orator. But he rolls up his sleeves.

  • Yes and the fact that he still enjoys support from about 35 percent of Americans in his cult inspires decent people the world over to feel like vomiting. But enemies of the USA are totally thrilled!

Here, I have some homework for you.

Watch Peter Navarro's speech addressing the Council on Foreign Relations.

Analyze it and see if you can figure out what Trump is trying to accomplish.

I admit a lot of this stuff is over my head. I understand maybe only 10% of what's going on.

But at least I am trying to understand what Trump is doing.

You are not.

I may start a separate thread on this. RIght now, still trying to digest it.

So I watched the full video.

The Trump team is flipping the finger to the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations).

I'm not even exactly sure what the CFR does or how much power they have or had.

But also noteworthy is Peter Navarro refers to MAGA as "The America First Movement".

So basically, if we connect the dots, America First + Flipping the finger to CFR = Trump is pulling away from the entanglements and rules of these international governing bodies.

Cool stuff.

But again, obviously too deep for most AN folks.

The President of Australia looks like a happy camper to me.

Trump just made a major deal with Australia that will help line the pockets of many Australians.

Just injected 8.5 billion dollars into Australia's economy.

Your interpretation of events is different?

Speeches from 50 years ago. What a joke.

Maybe the focus should be on finding a qualified democrat candidate to run in 2028. If you find one that believes in strong borders and tough on crime, I'd vote for them.

Why do you even engage with it.

He does not inspire us, because he does not respect us.

When one thinks of former politicians who inspired, one has to consider RFK, a truly great man, a man who spoke with such conviction and spoke such truth at a time when America was in a crisis. He was a true patriot. A giant. He strived to encourage us to bring out our better selves. What a concept.

We now find ourselves in a difficult position, and yet we see nothing but division, nothing but hatred, and no words of inspiration from Trump.  Nothing. Only hatred and venom, the opposite of good leadership.

JFK and RFK were two truly legendary men, the likes of which we will never see again.

From a speech in 1968.
All around us, all around us, - not just on the question of Vietnam, not just on the question of the cities, not just the question of poverty, not just on the problems of race relations - but all around us, and why you are so concerned and why you are so disturbed - the fact is, that men have lost confidence in themselves, in each other, it is confidence which has sustained us so much in the past - rather than answer the cries of deprivation and despair - cries which the President's Commission on Civil Disorders tells us could split our nation finally asunder - rather than answer these desperate cries, hundreds of communities and millions of citizens are looking for their answers, to force and repression and private gun stocks - so that we confront our fellow citizen across impossible barriers of hostility and mistrust and again, I don't believe that we have to accept that. I don't believe that it's necessary in the United States of America. I think that we can work together - I don't think that we have to shoot at each other, to beat each other, to curse each other and criticize each other, I think that we can do better in this country. And that is why I run for President of the United States.

We speak of our greatness, based on our gross national product - if we judge the United States of America by that - that gross national product counts air pollution and cigarette advertising, and ambulances to clear our highways of carnage. It counts special locks for our doors and the jails for the people who break them. It counts the destruction of the redwood and the loss of our natural wonder in chaotic sprawl. It counts napalm and counts nuclear warheads and armored cars for the police to fight the riots in our cities. It counts Whitman's rifle and Speck's knife, and the television programs which glorify violence in order to sell toys to our children. Yet the gross national product does not allow for the health of our children, the quality of their education or the joy of their play. It does not include the beauty of our poetry or the strength of our marriages, the intelligence of our public debate or the integrity of our public officials. It measures neither our wit nor our courage, neither our wisdom nor our learning, neither our compassion nor our devotion to our country, it measures everything in short, except that which makes life worthwhile. And it can tell us everything about America except why we are proud that we are Americans.

We can do better here in the United States, we can do better. We can do better in our relationships to other countries around the rest of the globe. President Kennedy, when he campaigned in 1960, he talked about the loss of prestige that the United States had suffered around the rest of the globe, but look at what our condition is at the present time.

George Bernard Shaw once wrote, "Some people see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say, why not?"

Why turn to Trump for inspiration? As a Republican, he represents an ideology that we should challenge, regardless of whether some of his ideas may be valid. Instead, seek motivation from the remarkable leaders of the Democratic Party. It’s time to move away from outdated figures, particularly white privileged males, who no longer represent the diverse and progressive values we need. Leaders like AOC, Elizabeth Warren, Katie Porter, and Ilhan Omar are at the forefront of change, championing issues that matter to all of us. These are the individuals who can inspire us to build a brighter future.

LOL-More Anti-Trump "BS." He is winning and doing much better than Biden in his four years.

Matter to all of you

And those issues are???

It seems that everyday the left wing losers of the Democratic Party are posting nonsense. They take to the streets wearing silly costumes and complain about a King while many millions of good patriot American's are very thankful that the United States finally has a President with b---s unlike old sleepy Joe that has been put out to pasture. I and millions of others are greatly inspired by President Trump and we are making America Great Again.

If you ask a majority of Europeans, most are pro Trump. Like it or not.

Sorry to say - thats not incorrect.

It‘s an absolute lie.

Trump doesen‘t need Europe - thats a clear statement from him (regardless if true or not).

You have no idea how Trump is disqualified in the posts of newspapers in Europe.
