Very funny, more Trump-ette guesswork.......😂

For a non USC you’re certainly obsessed with Trump.

Perhaps you should focus on the inevitable Sharia Law coming to Ol Blighty.

Made possible by leftists.

  • PRRI did this poll and it receives funding from leftist foundations and is rated as left by AllSides and overall, the report prioritizes a narrative critical of Trump, making it biased rather than ful

  • The left's propaganda is getting tiresome.

My impression is that the majority of the maga people WANT Trump to behave as a dictator but what they object to is calling him dangerous.

Exactly.

Real conservatives get that.

The maga movement is not conservative.

What makes you an expert on MAGA?

Problem is his predecessor was a blockhead.

And Trump is eccentric, so it makes people nervous.

Understandable.

I would go so far as to say 90% of people on AN don't know the true definition of a dictator. A dictator is actionally a benevolent figure, a defender, originally, as Carl Schmitt illustrated.

But we all know this is just cheap political polemic. Not a serious point about dictatorship. Nobody in their right mind could think Trump is a dictator, and they don't either. They just want to create outrage against Trump.

Trump isn't a dictator - yet.  However, given his megalomania, narcissism, and inflated ego, I have a sneaking suspicion that if he could become "Supreme Leader For Life" he would do so.  And if he could keep the power of the Presidency within his family he'd create a Trump dynasty.

A big factor is whether or not he is successful in preventing real elections. His regime is working very hard on that. If they succeed, it's over.

As opposed to Dems having sanctuary cities and states and flooding the country with illegal aliens and letting them vote without any ID.

Yea ... we can tell who's trying to rig the election process.

56% of those Americans POLLED.........not 56% of Americans.

I could a 100 response if I asked the right people

It makes Jack difference anyway as he will be around for another 3 years anyway.

I understand that "Trump 2028" hats are already on sale.

Any excuse to try to reject reality right?

There could be some benefits to having "one party".

For one thing, the population wouldn't spend 3/4 of their waking lives bickering over which party is better and fighting with each other.

I was in China. A lot of things there are better than in Western countries, despite the one party system.

I believe Russians have a national healthcare system. The Russian families I've seen walking around in Thailand seem contented and normal to me. They don't seem like the miserable and despondent victims of a ruthless despot to me.

Trump could have seized power when his supporters marched on the Capitol. Instead he decided to play by the rules. He lacks the dictator's instinct. He's probably too old to start being a dictator anyway. And he has to much too lose to gamble being a dictator.

if there were a legal way to be president for life, no doubt he would do so, but as we know, there is not.

That's probably inescapable anyway. One of his sons will run for office most likely. Barron perhaps?

Play by the rules! Suuure!

And it's not like his Secret Service detail prevented him to join them!

And also not like he watched his supporters assaulting the Capitol for hours, instead of telling them to stop it ASAP, and instead of sending the NG ASAP!

And also not like the fake electors' plot had failed, annihilating his hope to overturn the election in Congress!

He told his followers to stop.

He played by the rules.

He could have gone all out and marched on Washington and he may well have seized power Mussolini style, but he has too much to lose not to play by the rules. He's a billionaire.

In the end he accepted the result of the election and simply went for another election contest. That's a pure democratic approach, not a dictatorial approach.

No he did not until a few hours after the assault started. Fact!

It would have been easy, as a POTUS, to ask media for immediate diffusion of a call to cease the assault ASAP, or just send a tweet!

He wanted to join them and his SS detail prevented him to do so. Fact.

Up to now, he's still making the same ridiculous claims of a rigged 2020  election in most of his speeches!

No comment, it's so dumb it speaks for itself.

"I believe Russians have a national healthcare system"

Yes, every nation on the planet has some form of a national healthcare system, but of the developed ones the US system is the worst, so what's your point?

"The Russian families I've seen walking around in Thailand seem contented and normal to me. They don't seem like the miserable and despondent victims of a ruthless despot to me.

And don't you think that might be caused by the fact that they're in a tropical country, with nice beaches and great food, 7000 kms away from the despot??:cheesy:

PS. Have you ever been to Russia? They're absolutely and utterly miserable. Ive seen more hope and joy in most funerals I've attended!
