It's hard to say, without knowing the facts. It's not clear if she went on a holiday with her girlfriends, sister or family, or whether she went on a trip with a guy. If the latter, then clearly that is not great. I realise we were not formally exclusive, and she is free do do this, but clearly if she did that then it would not seem her interest is where it should be. 

 

However, we'll find out. I've sent her a text and we shall see what happens.

It's hard when you're  dating a girl from a traditional chinese family who went to uni and goes to church every Sunday. She must have more friends that 99% of brain surgeons.

 

That's the spin, I could put on it if I was looking at the glass half-full.

 

She basically told me she has a friend from the US who's flying back to the US today and was going to lunch with her, and then on Sunday she had lunch at the church. So I offered dinner today or tomorrow instead.

 

Looking at it dispassionately, obviously her interest is quite low. She replied, so there is some interest, but she did not suggest alternative times out of herself, so interest is low. But we're stil negotiating the date and time of the next date. If I get it , then I could still turn it around.

Well not really, I had the foresight to build the pipeline, so I have this 18 year old waitress to meet now, so that's a new option. Phuket girl herself said she still wants to come to CM "once she's saved money for the flight", even though I said I'd pay the flight, plus she said she'll start work in a bar. When I asked what she'll make, she said 10000 plus whatever I can get with drinks, which rather indicates this is a lady bar where she'll effectively be subject to bar fining. 

 

In addition the Manila virgin said she still wants to come and will wait til December. BKK girl texted me this morning, and says she still wants to come.

 

None of that matters if CM girl comes through with date 4 and that goes well, as I'm really only interested in her now. But I have to say her interest looks very low, so lining up the 18 year old waitress in the short term may not have been in vain.

Christian women are very social and endlessly doing stuff with other Christians. Like your girl, most of the Bangkok Christians I meet are at least upper middle class.

 

The bar of Jesus loving is very low to mingle with these people. Simply affirming gratitude for him dying will broadly cover it. I went to the non dom churchin Chiang Mai, and I definitely saw some lookers.

On Friday, I'd texted her to ask if she got back safely, to drop me a line as I'd sure be happy to hear from her. She replied "Yes, ka, back already". I then asked her out for lunch Saturday or Sunday.

 

She said for lunch on Saturday she might meet a friend visiting from the US who was leaving back to the US at 3 pm, and that  Sunday she normally has lunch at the Church.

 

I said "No worries" and asked for a daytime lunch date in the coming week, or if her her friend was leaving at 3 pm we could also do dinner on Saturday.

 

She replied "I will make sure tomorrow ka". I understood this to mean she will find out for sure on Saturday what her lunch plans with her US friend were and she'd get back to me.

 

I replied "Thanks, just let me know" and that dinner on Sunday would also work for me.

 

She saw that text 18 hours ago and I've not heard back from her.

 

Obviously I knew her interest was low, but it sounded like she was not sure, maybe considering doing another date, she replied, but I suppose she went on a trip with some guy and in the end my age was the deciding factor.

 

She's 26, so quite a gap.

Well, since I had not heard back all Saturday from CM girl, I did go on a date with the Waitress. She showed up in some heavy metal T-Shirt and shorts, but her face nicely made up. She had a pretty face, a bit darker than the photos, but pretty nonetheless. However, I now know why there weren't any body photos. She wasn't fat per se, but one of these northern robost gals. Anathema for me, as I like the slender elegant bodies, much like CM girl has.

 

Anyway, so she's in the car and conversation is basically a heart attack, she speaks barely a word of English. I took her to Meechock, I know a little restaurant there. We ate, and that improved the mood of both us. I took her to my place under the watch Netflix guise. She was apprehensive, I have to be back with grandmother by 9 pm, no worries I'll drive you back. We sit on the couch at my place, and I put on Netflix as she was not able to work out the remote.

 

This time I do inject a bit of tension, move closer to her and I ask her if she's ever been with a man. She whips out the phone to make sense of it and replies "Never". "Would you like to try tonight?" She replies "We should talk a bit more". Which is rather ironic as all night we were unable to talk. Anyway, she's clearly from the very lowest socio-economic space, so I offer her to go to the bedrooms where I have two closets full of clothes I bought for the Filipina Ex and the BKK ex, and told her to just choose anything she likes. She picked a purple dress, everything else was too small for her. I'd hated that purple dress for a long time, and was very glad to never see it again.

 

Then I drove her back home. In the car she had the nerve to ask me fro 2500 baht as her mother was sick in hospital, her husband had left her over hospital bills. A family in crisis. I told her "We should talk a bit more", which went right over her head, understandably as I should have said "We should f more.". After I dropped her off she again texted me super nice asking for financial help. I said, I can see you again but only if money is not involved. She says if you help me I will give you everything. Exactly the same words she said 2 days earlier when I sent her 1200 baht to help with her school fees. "No this time, I will give you happiness".Even if she tried, I doubt she could, but I did not have the heart to tell her.

 

So waitress girl, whilst an initial contender and at 18 quite desirable with her pretty face is probably out. Too many financial issues.

 

I was thinking of becoming a born again Christian and stalk every church in San Sai, on the ood chance I 'd bump into CM girl, but let's face it, if interest is not there even the Lord himself would be powerless.

 

Be careful with that older woman romance, I also said "Why not?" When I banged that 4 on Friday, and I sure got punished for it.
