You die anyway.

Took Ta next to DK Beer Town on Third Road.  I think she also runs the kitchen in Moggy's Bar and Guesthouse just off Buakhao 15.

If you or your friend is familiar with Pattaya you may know of her previous stall on LK Metro which was well frequented.

Sky Luck in Big C Extra Food Court do fish and chips.

one portion?

i gave up on fish and chips here,  unhealthy, often too much oil, maybe old oil too based on how i feel after eating, plus it's that river fish. It's nothing like back in UK. Only buy if cod or haddock

Currently, Moggys and Golden Ferret are my favourites. Friday is a good day to go as fish and chips are discounted at a lot of places.

People tend to want Fish and Chips more on Fridays anyway.

If I owned a shop I would discount on different days and let the competition have the bargain hunters on Fridays.

Has that been tried?

Top 5 on Trip Advisor:-

Robin Hood Tavern

Wombat & Kiwi bar

The Sportsman

Dicey Reilly's

Caddyshack

A few years ago when I lived in Pattaya my top 5 were:-

Goose's

The Village Chippy (off Third Road)

Frydays (when Liam was frying)

Caddyshack (Keith consistently turns out decent food)

Nicky's bar.

Hugely subjective as there dozens of places I haven't tried.

I had this at Robin Hood a little while ago.  Everything was very good except in total rather too much.  But better too much than too little.

If I remember right, 499.

฿499  a (small) bit cheaper than a chippy (Kebab shop) in the UK then.

Good recommendation of Golden Ferret, as I heard positive of there from others.  Couldn't find the place on Google Maps though and was worried it had gone.

You'll not be there for Christmas lunch then I suppose, 4,799/person.

Clubhouse on Jomtien Beach Road do their's on Monday

For F&C i would go to Nickys 269 off Soi Buakhao or Frasers 239 on Thappraya Road. 499 at RHT is a joke

Are you really that gullible ?

The fish & chips in Hemingway’s in Jomtien is OK, and you have a choice between cod and haddock.

I had fish and chips from Sharples Jomtien. It was inedible. The chips were both under cooked and burnt (hard in the middle but very dark on the outside). They were also very sweet - I think it was a 'bad' batch of potatoes. The fish was terrible too. The batter was a very yellow colour. Seemed like they had used cornmeal in the batter and it really wasn't pleasant.

Enjoyed very much the fish and chips at Wombat and Kiwi bar Jomtien beach road. Went for the large and had to pass some over to the Mrs plate. She enjoyed it also.

All great chippies had these, Alomost impossible to get good fish and chips, the potatoes have be either Cyprus or King Edwards, and cooked in lard or beef dripping,

I keep looking and try places here in Phuket, one day hey?
