BKK UK Visa agency forThai gf recommendation

Featured Replies

I'm looking for an visa agency in BKK which is efficient and easy to deal with to arrange a UK visa for my Thai gf please.

All necessary paperwork can be supplied in order and in a reasonable time frame. A previous visit was arranged May 2024. We used Siam Legal but it was a bit like pulling teeth. Different information from different people and the usual SE Asian problem whereby all questions are answered by 'well received' and nobody will tell you your questions could ever be met with the word 'no' or 'it will take longer than you are anticipating'. (I'm in my 60s and I'm used to simple answers to simple questions but too frequently there can be a cultural gap between te west and the east).

And yes I'm well aware it can be done without an agent but as I'm in UK and she's in Thailand that simply isn't isn't practical.

Thanks very much in advance.

I’m assuming that your girlfriend wishes to apply a visit visa, as you mention that she successfully applied for one previously.

You’re right that it’s a pretty straightforward process which she could easily do herself, but l appreciate her reasons for wishing to use an agent.

Whilst not in Bangkok I would highly recommend https://thaivisa-express.com who are based in Pattaya, they are highly recommended, registered with the

Immigration Advice Authority in the UK and are not a bolt on for a firm of lawyers.

Maybe your girlfriend could make contact, they have Thai and British staff, I’m sure they’ll be able to assist her.

Thanks, I know Thai Visa Express are often recommended but when we visited last we were in Pattaya I found their service dreadful TBH. I guess we will use Siam Legal in BKK again, they weren't much good but did eventually get the job done.

Surprising!  Did you talk to Paul Aslett?

Do it yourself, it’s all done online now, all your girlfriend has to do is go to BKK for a photo and biometric fingerprint. Between the 2 of with modern technology you don’t have to be in Thailand.

A bit late into this one but One Vasco is located adjacent to VfS and there is a connection between the two of them.

Might be worth talking to them.
