Good for you dear fellow (er Trotskyism was none of those - is was oppositions to Stalinism and the betrayal of the Russian revolution (Statist capatalism) which ended in his untimley and violent death at the hands of the NKVD. Sadly my small cadre of the Guilford Branch failed to persuade almost anyone of our principled vanguardist support for the 4th International so I eventually drifted away back into the warm embrace of a Kinnockite Labour Party. Works perfectly well - I am using this laptop for AN right now.  I can access any website - Chrome has a stable version that works perfectly on Win7.  If that changed I might have to update, but until then I am more than happy to know that all the 'modern' analytics and spying etc etc is not working on my system, and also not draining any CPU/GUI resources.  I have 'reprogrammed' Win7 to remove all the khrapp and unnecessary system apps and services, and the laptop goes extremely well - better and faster than my Win10 laptop. Putin is not yet at the point where he needs to back off his maximalist demands because he's still able to carry out his war efforts. That could change a year from now if Ukraine keeps hitting inside Russia targets at the rate they have and that they continue to get outside support. Even with a complete US cutoff of arms sales and intelligence, then it would be up to Europe, Canada, etc. 

 

Zelinski will not be forced to do that under the current situation. Not even close. 

 

Second outcome possible. Of course that would make things harder for Ukraine.

 

Putin does not want peace. As the invading force, he could have peace tomorrow by simply agreeing to a cease fire at the current battle liines.
