An American man, aged 69, was discovered dead in a hotel room at Na Jomtien, Sattahip, Chonburi, under unusual circumstances. Huh? Houdini certainly might have been able to cuff his hands behind his back, but I don't think the average person could. I think that 99% of the police departments around the world would conclude foul play. Thailand is one of the few places in the world where the police would even suggest self-inflicted harm, and how much do you think that has to do with PR and tourism?

When the RTP makes a statement like that they're revealing to the world both a level of staggering incompetence, and the fact that they're bought and paid for by the government and the tourism bureau. 

 

Never be fooled into thinking that the RTP are a real police department, they are franchisees, and they are a revenue collection agency who do very little law enforcement.
