  • I just wonder how Britain fell to such depths where plain truths need to be suppressed in order not to offend the worlds most offensive a religion.  Where and when will it end ?   There

Imagine the outrage if a Muslim teacher reprimanded Christian children for following their religious practices.   No teacher has any duty to reprimand any child for following their own faith

  • Refusing to follow the leftist narrative can be costly.    Facts must not get in the way of denigrating Britain and the British people.

teachers should know better than to belittle the faith of a child in a classroom setting.

Except, of course, in the case of a non-Muslim child in a Muslim classroom setting, right?

Was it ever your duty as a teacher to reprimand any child for following their own faith?

So, you are sticking with the claim that washing feet in school sinks is part of the Muslim faith ?

Washing feet in school sinks is following Islam ?

Washing feet is a Muslim ritual at certain parts of the day. If you are at school the most obvious place to do it is in the bathrooms.

Rules for Washing Feet (Wudu)

The general rule in Sunni Islam is that it is obligatory to wash the feet up to and including the ankles. This is typically done as the final step of Wudu.
  • Frequency: Wudu is performed before each of the five daily prayers, or whenever a person's state of purity is broken (e.g., after using the toilet, passing gas, or deep sleep). Therefore, the feet may be washed multiple times a day.

There's a lot more to it, and different rules for other sects, but this is a quick view.

I thought he was Scandinavian.

Maybe I was misled by all those images of him as tall, with fair hair, white skin and blue eyes.

Washing one’s feet is part of Islamic practice.

Are you sticking with defending a teacher for his reprimanding children for practicing their faith?

Maybe because of the particular faith of the children?!

Perhaps if a teacher reprimanded a child for following the teachings of some other faith you might object.

Yes, its absolutely disgusting to wash dirty feet in a public sink .

The UK should have higher standards than that .

Do whatever you want in your own home , be disgusting at home .

But they need to act in an inoffensive way in public .

Keep your dirty feet out of public sinks

Maybe.  But there is still a constitutional state religion.  With the Monarch at the top.

There is no "constitutional religion", but there are two "established churches"....The Church of England (the State Church of England) and the Presbyterian Church of Scotland (the National  Church of Scotland).

The only part the constitution plays is that the Monarch must belong to the Church of England.

The Monarch is "Supreme Governor of the Church of England"..... and that's all.

The have no authority over the Presbyterian Church of Scotland.......they are ordinary members of that church.

Northern Ireland and Wales have no state religion so none there either (the church was disestablished, from the state, in Ireland in 1871 and Wales in 1920)

The have no authority over the Catholic Church.

Northern India or Tibet. It is disputed.

Is Anglican still the state religion in the UK or did they do away with that? A lot of dead bodies in that fight.

"The Church of England is a Protestant church that is also known as the Anglican Church. Protestantism is a branch of Christianity that formed in the early 16th century as a protest movement against Catholicism."

Invented by Henry VIII so he could change wives, as often as he liked, without being reprimanded by the Pope.

In the UK Christian religion has been on the decline for decades, when I was a kid we had R.E. classes, Religion Education, was it.

Now, even churches have become residences, not used, minimal congregations, but the monarch is still the leader of it....🤗

Not to mention, 30 mins Christian assembly every school morning, hymns and prayers always finishing with the Lords Prayer.
