Hey Ding-Dong, what strong majority oppose Trump?  It's only the few inflicted with <removed>, your tribe. What disgusting pattern? Constant complaining and nothing of substance.

As for your negative reactions, I doubt it has anything to do with nationality, and more aligned with your actions.

Name calling. Tsk tsk.

Very low approval ratings. Thus strong majority opposing him. Duh.

My tribe? Got a live one here, Mary.

The pattern of using ILLEGAL tariffs as a bullying weapon for foreign policy. Duh.

The negative reactions thing from Thais about nationality is something that I've noticed since Trump started bullying Thailand with tariffs and tariff threats. Not something I ever noticed BEFORE. So if you're capable of using logic (obviously not) that isn't about me personally. I'd like to see some polling on the movement of Thai public opinion on the USA to confirm (or refute) my anecdotal observation.

Trump started it by sending his attack dogs, like Michael Alfaro, into Cambodia to stir them up. (There is non AI video evidence of this). All very convenient for the Pumpkin to claim ANOTHER war stopped.

P.S. Thai people think Trump is an <deleted> too!

What happend to all the Trump loyalist, magaites and sycophants of the great Orange leader that used to sing his praises and bow to his superior intelect  and business accumin on these pages ad nauseam.  Have they gone back to the USA for a better life where everything is down, down.down including the morale of the countries citizens and the relations with all of the allies and trade partners the USA once had.

nope..  we are all right here .. and have all the faith and confidence in the worlds greatest leader.

i still hope President Trump gets mass quantities of munitions to Thailand and let them pound cambodia into submission

US President Donald Trump has announced his intention to mediate the renewed conflict between Thailand and Cambodia, which has escalated following a fragile truce brokered in July.

Excellent news. Hopefully he'll come down hard on those imbeciles.

Unfortunately the useless and weak Anutin has passed the buck and dissolved parliament. So when Trump calls today at 21.10 I guess Anutin will tell him "Sorry, I'm not in charge anymore".

Anutin has basically completely abdicated responsibility to the military.

In the absence of anyone with authority to talk to, not much Trump can do really.

Perhaps you could contribute a post which is based on the truth of the matter.

Yah, I wonder if Anutin will have the modesty to admit it's better to talk to a military leader, rather than him. I can imagine they will want to insulate the military leaders from Trump and let them do as they please.

Should talk to very senior well educated military officer, and in same conversaion the elected political leader. Both should be contributing to an insightful agreed policy.

Happy and thankful to see the fighting having ended.

Thank you, Mr. President, for your efforts. God bless you and God bless the USA.🇺🇸

Hopefully a new, sustainable peace agreement is on the table. My wife and I live right on the border. Now we can finally feel safe again, at least if the Trump Agreement holds.

I feel sorry for the Thais and Cambodians who are getting killed and injured in this

conflict.  I also agree that I also do not talk politics when I visit Thailand, Although

I do say that I am not a fan of Trump, or my ex Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, but that is my personal opinon.

It will not be much longer that both of them will be retired and out of the picture soon.

I like Peace as it is much quieter. War is noisy and people get hurt and or killed and that is a shame.

I hope that China does tell Cambodia to chose peace and stay with in Cambodia.

What trump agreement? The US president being involved is the mother of all jokes. He knows nothing about the situation and wouldn't even understand it with a day of explanations. And what's god got to do with it? Nothing.

If you're so keen on trump's involvement why not invite him over to stay with you to be on site.

But you seem to be missing the reality of the situation. Trump has no honest nor sincere reeason to be involved. He just naively / stupidly believes it will lead to him being awarded some type of peace prize, which isn't going to happen, he's caused so much death across the world that's beyond common sense.

Plenty of Thai people think trump is dangerous.

Some Thai folks of course don't think outside of their faily routine / daily typical Thai reactions to daily Thai life interactions / and Thai food. Further Thais typically have little knowledge of or interest in matters not Thai.

Geography is an example. My Thai daughter in laws brother asked me to give him a letter to say it's OK for him to enter Germany (I am not German nor do I originate from a EU country).

I explained to him that I cannot give him such letter, the conversation turned to him making a comment that it's only 1 hour by bus to get from Bangkok to the german border. His own Thai sister showed him where thailand and germany are located on a large globe of the world we have at our house. He insisted the globe of the world is wrong.

Don't care whos trying to encourage peaceful settlement. That is only a good thing.. anyone bitching, being political about whether its the UN, Trump or anyone else calling for peace cares nothing for the people getting hurt or killed.

Go look in the mirror, either you support peace regardless whos calling for it or your part of the problem.

(you're). (who's). Stop interfering in someone else's fight, it's gone on for 100 years already, let them sought it out once and for all otherwise it will just flare up again later. The Thai artillery woke me up at 4 am this morning, rolling thunder with muesli. The farmers on both sides of the border don't care who wins power over slivers of uninhabited land, they want to get on with their lives, as one farmer put it, "All I want to do is tap rubber", I suppose the monster of patriotism got in the way of his simple peaceful life.

That's interesting.

Sometimes I do express my anti-Trump feelings to Europeans depending on social clues, but I avoid talking anything at all political with Thais.

It's my understanding that in Thai culture it's not cool and diminishes your face to express opposition to your own government to foreigners even if the Thai person might oppose your government.

Russians are expected to support Putin at least when talking to non-Russians.

Americans are expected to support Trump at least when talking to non-Americans, etc.

Of course it almost goes without saying that Thais do not want to hear what you think about their government.

Generalizations for sure and I may be wrong, but that's my understanding.

And thus a difference in being an American concerning opposition to wrongs done by my government. I do avoid Thai politics as a topic but a Brit friend and I mix it up over Russia/Ukraine.
