Trump Revives ‘s---hole Countries’ Remark in Fiery Speech

Nothing refreshing about this.

He's a racist, though I understand why you are so supportive of that.

"Nothing refreshing"?

That's code for "I can't counter the argument, so sling mud."

Your "racist" drive-by on Trump – dredging up a 7-year-old quote he just admitted to in 2025 while mocking Omar's hijab as a "turban" – is the laziest slur in the book, ignoring her actual record of anti-American bile and Islamist apologetics.

Supportive of racism? Nah – I'm supportive of calling out fraud and extremism, like Omar's "Israel has hypnotized the world" 9/11 tweet or her "All About the Benjamins" AIPAC jab that got condemned by her own party.Trump's "turban" jab? Crude? Sure. But it's the same unfiltered roast he gives everyone – from Biden's "stutter" to DeSantis' "heels" – and Omar's fair game for her "some people did something" 9/11 minimization.

As for "<deleted>hole countries" (Haiti, Somalia, etc.), he owned it Tuesday: "Why can't we have people from Norway?"Blunt? Yeah. Racist? Only if preferring skilled immigrants over chaos is "hate" – which says more about your low-bar wokeness than his policy.

Understand why I'm "supportive"? Because facts > feelings, and Trump's winning by exposing grifters like Omar, not virtue-signaling.

Your "racist" crutch? It's the crutch of the argument-free. Try engaging the substance next time, snowflake.

Dozens Charged in $250 Million COVID Fraud Scheme
FBI investigation alleges massive misuse of money meant to feed children during pandemic

Forty-seven suspects have been indicted for defrauding a federally funded child nutrition program of more than $250 million.

The funds were intended to be used as reimbursements for the costs of serving meals to children in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, but investigators believe few meals were ever provided. Instead, the defendants are accused of misusing the money to purchase cars, vacations, coastal resort properties, electronics, and other luxury items for themselves.

https://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/dozens-charged-in-250-million-covid-fraud-scheme-092122

The programs began under Trump, the explosion of fraud, the hundreds of millions stolen, and the years of almost non-existent controls all took place on Biden’s watch.

The defendants themselves bragged in court filings that the USDA “stopped doing almost any monitoring” in 2021.So yes — this $250 million feeding-kids scam was discovered, charged, and exploded under the Biden administration.

I guess you like his grammatically awkward, rambling and incoherent speaking style. Orator is supposed to be eloquent like Biden.

The Fraud started during the first Trump Regime in April 2020 until it was discovered and prosecuted during the subsequent Biden regime in January 2022 and prosecuted.  Must have all been Biden's fault again?

Though what he's saying is partially true, it's the way he says it that is so heinous, so nasty, so toxic, and so hateful. Tariff Don's words would have more impact if he possessed even a tiny bit of diplomatic skill, and if his heart was not so dark and nasty.

What he's really trying to say is that countries that have a lot of people of color are terrible places, and the white race is the truly supreme race, we are better than you, and we don't want to have anything to do with you. He is America's number one racist and an absolute pig.

The way women are treated in the countries to which Trump referred is an utter disgrace.

Is it stupidity? Or just willful ignorance?
Trump complains that it's only people from third-world countries who want to immigrate to America.

He can't understand why people from countries with free health care, free education, better developed infrastructure, and a healthy society don't want to move to the U.S.
This requires a special kind of stupid.

He like a few from Denmark. He wouldn't get them as they view US under Trump as a s-hole country.

Here's a fun fact for you.

Somalia ranks 179th out of 180 countries in the 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), the leading global measure of public sector corruption perceptions, published by Transparency International in February 2025. This places it second-to-last, with South Sudan at 180th.

Maybe Transparency International are racists too? 😄

Correct, the R word. Or, to use the straight talk that you like, “racist.” Here’s some more straight talk: Anyone who is as in-your-face enthusiastic about Trump’s comments on s**thole countries (and I assume you were just as supportive of his calling Minnesota’s Somali community “garbage”), well, that says a lot about the enthusiast, doesn’t it, that’s not very flattering. If you don’t want to be called a racist, don’t act like one.

The Somalis, being Homo sapiens, are inherently just as capable of corruption and other bad behavior as, for instance, white people (though they would be hard-pressed to match the corruption currently taking place at the very top of the current US administration). But the vast majority of Somalis, whether in Somalia, Minnesota, Somaliland, or elsewhere, are just trying to make a living and provide for their families, like people everywhere else. But you wouldn’t know that, would you. There’s that R word again.

There's a good reason to bring color into it, he doesn't refer to countries with predominant white populations as those type of countries does he? Even if the countries are relatively poor.

Thanks for the recommendation of moving back to California, but that's not going to happen in this lifetime. And I'm one of the few Democrats who's willing to admit that my party has diminished that state dramatically. The last good Governor California had was Arnold Schwarzenegger, and he was a Centrist Republican.

Obviously not disagreeing with your comment.  Just your selectiveness when it comes to calling out mistreatment of women.  You shout it from the rooftops when the utter disgraces are foreign, brown or moslem; but ignore it when committed by rich white men.

You brought it up, not me.

It would appear your demand for racism is outstripping the supply. 😄

Somalia is indeed a trainwreck. A S-Hole. Any basic knowledge of the country would confirm that. Terrorism. Corruption, female genital mutilation, food insecurity, internal conflict to name but a few issues.

If you think criticizing such things is racist, then you are either lacking intelligence or morally bankrupt.

You are on a mean streak. Somalia had their problems from colonization, civil wars and drought. To the country’s credit, Somalia has rebounded in their economy and security and FDI followed. I rather wish the country success for the future than calling them s-hole but that’s just you.

I also wish them success. The suffering of the people under the "leaders" there is terrible.

However, the current state of the country is a mess. That is a fact and I see no reason to lie about it.

Of course Somalia has a raft of problems, and one can no longer continue to blame European colonialism, now more than half a century past. The northern part of the country split off to form Somaliland more than thirty years ago, and things are much better there; they deserve recognition and support.

However, Trump calling Somalia (and lots of other places) “s**thole countries,” and his calling people of Somali heritage living in Minnesota “garbage,” is not “straight talking,” as you say. It’s provocation, pure and simple, and red meat to his base, of which you seem to be a part. Trump’s comments denigrate entire populations, and while Trump himself may not be personally invigorated by such comments, they do serve to inflame hatred and sometimes violence among the most ignorant (and, yes, racist) of his followers. For this reason, such comments should be loudly condemned as divisive and worse.

The USA doesn't have any immigrannts from Norway and Sweden because it is much better to live there than the USA.

Do we really have to waste our time reacting to every stupid remark the toddler-in-chief blurts out?
