Did Obama make America worse on purpose, or was he just low IQ?

Don't understand why nice people. Those who can actually think for themselves, react on this forum. The racist slander, untruths are getting so weird. Before we know it the USA has to declare WAR on Mars/Venezuela/The Moon???? You'all rednecks will be applauding it no matter what.

As always, you have to lie.

I really do hope that AN does a IP address survey and show us where the Trumpers actually live.

Why?

Trump makes Obama look like a genius.

  • No mystery there. Look at his background and the people who raised him. He's an apple that didn't fall far from the tree.

  • I listened to his speech to the British Houses of Parliament in Westminster Hall during his State Visit to the UK in May 2011.   He was witty, generous, and complimentary. He was also obviou

You're such a silly little guy!

Just for fun, I'd love to see---on Pay Per View---a IQ Test between Obama and Trump. Corrected live, and the results posted for all the world to see. Las Vegas would offer billion to one odds on Trump winning.

Trump---and it seems you MAGAs as well---habitually toss out the "low IQ" epithet against Black people. No doubt intelligent Black women and men scare the bejesus out of MAGAs, as their inherent inferiority or inferior genes become readily apparent. The "Again" in Trump's silly slogan means "that time in the past when us white guys didn't have to get embarrassed competing against superior women and minorities".

As for being a patriot, rational people are not fooled by a bone spurs coward just because he does nasty things to flags at CPAC conventions. Also, true patriots believe Gen Kelly over the pathologically mendacious Trump and know full well Trump called US soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice "suckers and losers".

True patriots also know Trump tried desperately to subvert US democracy by trying to overturn the results of the election he soundly lost, and also know Trump cared so little for the US that he stole highly classified documents and kept them in his wedding planner facility, and then lied about returning them. That Trump put US national security at risk is undeniable. So undeniable, Republicans are hellbent on making sure SC Jack Smith never testifies publicly under oath about his investigation into Trump.

No where in the OP was race mentioned. Only you brought it up with your typical projection. Remember choosing 88 was a coincidence right ?

Well, let's not forget Joe Lieberman's contribution.  But your rational and true explanation holds no force to them that can't hear it.

His post is a good summary of the flaws and why it is a failure. Ultimately it is Obama's failure regardless of the difficulties he faced.  Basically he simply expanded coverage of a broken health care system.  Costs are even more out of control now than before ACA.

He had to get ACA passed by congress or he would have faced dire political consequences.  In the end we got a terrible product and the real issues with the system, skyrocketing costs,  were never addressed.

Maybe ACA with all its flaws was the only viable option.  Being a politician has to be frustrating at times.  His original health care proposal would have been great IMO.

"Low IQ" is a MAGAism for Black people. Note whom Trump has used that epithet against.

A MAGA in this thread even called Obama a DEI President.

White male losers, which is to say MAGAs, still cannot get over the fact that a Black man was President of the United States. With their lack of intellect and marketable skills, MAGA whiteys are petrified that women and Blacks dwarf them in terms of skills. They still think they are entitled to a free ride because of their skin color and Y chromosome.

Not anymore. The playing field is leveling, which is why MAGAs are whining. Compete, or get out of the way and embrace your Welfare and SNAP cards.

That you have to lie shows how weak your position is.

Without lies and deception, the left has nothing.

yep and this has what to do with my post.  Weird again... When you can't answer a question, you just post something unrelated.  Trump's tax cuts may cost even more than 4.5 trillion but what does that have to do with my post.

That there is nothing inherent in the ACA that makes it prohibitively expensive. That the same people who make that claim, make tax cuts that will deprive the government of much more revenue. What's more, that starting with George Bush, decisions were made that would inevitably increase the deficit. And the same people who made these decisions invoke lack of funds to improve health care.

The first prominent DEI hire.  The beginning of the end.

If you say so. Nice projection though.

This proves you either know nothing of the ACA, nothing of medical insurance in the US, you are lying, or all three.

And the same people claiming that the tax cuts will cost $4.5T said the ACA would drive the cost curve down, but it did not. It drove it up faster.

As I remember, the first year after the ACA my premiums went up almost 50% and my deductible almost doubled.

Yes, more people got "free" insurance, but no more people actually got care.

What are you on about? Obamacare on a total cost per capita basis actually actually comes to slightly less than the total cost of insurance offered by employers.

And before Obamacare was lunched, what country had the highest medical costs per capita in the world?

The ACA is a failure.  That’s why the dems want to prop it up with subsidies.   Obama said it would not any thing to the deficit.

Why should I believe the claim of an anonymous person with a demonstrable political animus? Come back when you've got actual objectively certifiable evidence. What you're offering here is worthless.

Yes, there should have been a Medicare option. But  given unanimous Republican opposition, so far not possible. Sooner or later it will happen as cost continue to outpace inflation. Anywhere from 1/4 to 1/3 of the cost of American health care costs have to do with the fact of the multiplicity of private insurers and all the bureaucracy it takes to administer that.

BS..when the ACA was passed the dems had a majorly in the house and 60 votes in the Senate.

The number of uninsured  has been cut in half.

And the plan as originally proposed would have cut the deficits. The CBO backed him up on that.

It did not cut the deficit.  They fed the CBO data to get the outcome they wanted.   The costs are plans on the ACA are rising faster than employer plans.

Really? That's how the CBO works? You know why it's called the Congressional Budget Office and not the Executive Budget Office or the The Presidential Budget Office?

You are trying to defend the awful ACA.

You have no answer for the fact that it has halved the rate of the uninsured in half. And it would have been a lot more if states like Florida and Texas accepted the Medicaid extension. In fact, every red state that held a referendum on it approved it. And Republican politicians even in  red leaning districts are running scared because of the failure to extend the current version of the ACA. It's a popular program.

You don’t know how anything works in DC

Congressional Budget Office (CBO) scores bills based on Congress's directives, using its own baseline of current law but adopting specific assumptions or "directives" from budget committees for certain policies (like expiring tax credits or agency rules), aiming for objective analysis of new spending/revenue, though these estimates can be complex and depend heavily on these specified inputs and economic forecasts.

Typical leftie reply.   Blame the Republicans for the failure of the ACA.  Anyway, why does someone need Medicaid when they get an ACA policy?

But not the Executive branch. And can you share with me the evidence that the CBO estimate was skewed by congressional input.

Here is a link to an analysis of the CBO estimates from the Commonwealth Fund

https://www.commonwealthfund.org/sites/default/files/documents/___media_files_publications_issue_brief_2015_dec_1851_glied_cbo_crystal_ball_forecast_aca_rb_v2.pdf?utm_source=chatgpt.com

It did reasonably well. Somewhat overestimated how many people would enrol, but also overestimated how much the policies would cots.

Now we have the Dems pushing to expend the ACA COVID subsidies.   This is a shameful action because it’s pushing the debt to the next generation.
