That would be Brazilian. There used to be one at Central Festival. Zico's.

Yeah, there WAS. I had forgotten about that.

Also, there USED to be a fancy Portuguese place way out Jomtien Beach Road.

That's dumb as Tinnies is directly on Tappraya Road. To access it there is no need to go into Jomtien complex at all. Also it's not remotely any kind of "gay" restaurant. So you obviously felt the need to spout some homophobic silliness based on a fiction.

You made it homophobic. I wouldn't enjoy gay boys blowing kisses at me, but have nothing against gay people. I don't even enjoy attention from bar girls.

No I didn't.

The story about needing walk past gay businesses to get to Tinnies was FAKE.

The highlight of returning to the US every year is taking part in the excellent restaurants.

While Thailand is better than the Philippines, improvements are needed.

It is similar to Miami.

I've said that for decades.

There are a lot less working girls in Miami but lets move back to the topic we can agree on, Trump is a moron.

I'm going to shy away from getting much into specific recommendations on this topic. But I will mention Joom Lay further out on Jomtien Beach Road which is one my current rotation of favorites.

That’s an interesting menu, the Spicy Frog salad certainly jumps out at you.

There used to be an Indonesian place on Thep Prasit Soi 8. La Villa Bali?

It's an abandoned house now.

There also used to be an OK Indonesian restaurant on Jomtien second road.

There is Malee House on Soi Lengkee that used to do and perhaps still does some Indonesian-ish dishes but in my opinion less than authentically.

I find their hor mok talay quite decent.

Most Thai restaurants don't do that dish, but seafood oriented places often do.

Looking at the poll results, throwing out the 5 ratings, the results are clearly showing that a good majority have a favorable view of Pattaya metro restaurants satisfying them personally.

I'm happy hear that.

I find it quite an exciting scene these days.

It doesn't need to be the best in the world or even the best in Thailand (it ain't either) to well satisfy MOST people.

Shamalaladingdong on Pattaya/Naklua Rd was Portugese and there was another place not too far away that just sold Portugese custard tarts. Both places are long gone.

Visited the one on Jomtien's Second Road too. Usually they would come along with Dutch residents. Probably not that many around these days and certainly not the custom to support such a niche.
