A 52-year-old Indian tourist was injured after being assaulted near the entrance to Walking Street in South Pattaya early on the morning of 27 December, prompting an emergency response and a police investigation. The victim sustained injuries to his face and the back of his head and was taken to hospital for treatment and stitches, with authorities advising him to file a formal complaint once he recovers.

According to the Sawang Boriboon Pattaya Radio Centre, the incident was reported at approximately 5.30am on 27 December. Rescue workers and officers were dispatched to the entrance of Walking Street on the beachside of South Pattaya, Moo 10, Nong Prue subdistrict, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi province, after receiving a report that a tourist had been assaulted and injured.

At the scene, responders found a foreign national identified as Mr Bid, aged 52, an Indian citizen, in a visibly battered condition. He had sustained wounds to his face and the back of his head, consistent with having been physically assaulted. First aid was provided at the scene before he was transported to Hospital for further medical treatment.

A witness, identified as Mr Phongphon Boonchid, aged 19, told authorities that he observed the incident unfold from the entrance of Walking Street near a McDonald’s outlet. He stated that the foreign tourist and a group of ladyboys had been chasing and attacking each other from that area before the group allegedly surrounded and assaulted the Indian tourist.

The witness indicated that the cause of the altercation was a dispute over payment for services, stating that the tourist allegedly refused to pay. Following the assault, the suspects left the area before police arrived, while rescue workers focused on assisting the injured man.

Police officers at the scene advised Mr Bid to prioritise medical treatment until he has fully recovered. They stated that he would then be asked to formally lodge a complaint so that legal proceedings can be initiated against those responsible for the assault.

Authorities have not released details regarding the number or identities of the suspects, and no arrests were reported at the time of the incident. Police said the case would proceed once the victim is able to provide a full statement and supporting medical documentation.

Remove all the kathoeyes, and to be sure of accidents close the street down.

Totally agree with you.

Question what if the Indian thought it was a Female, only to find it was not.....Shock....?? Should  he pay, would it be "misleading advertising,":whistling:

I wonder if they puts rocks in their purses for some extra kick when smacking someone over the head.

I  believe one only has to ask if in doubt. But I am inclined to think he knew.

I have no experience with ladyboy transactions, but don't they demand payment up front?

So why are there all these claims of refusal to pay after the transaction?

I hope so.

May dissuade the Indians to holiday elsewhere than Pattaya.

I wonder if when the ladyboy got to his room  and rang his 3 mates to join in as he wanted the pay for 1 get 3 free deal.  The deal wasn't accepted so he took off down the road and the  ladyboy chased him for the money and bashed the currry out of

He might have cheekily sampled the goods beforehand and had a little nibble perhaps and then decided to shop elsewhere ?

No, keep them in Pattaya like the rest of the riff-raff.

Probably the dude verbally agreed to a price then later decided to get a discount which didn’t work. Maybe the ladyboys were not totally at fault. Just saying.

Too late then.In for a penny in for a pound.

The ladyboy claimed to have had a big banana but the banana was really small and the Indian not being satisfied with the banana size did not want to pay..

What is it with Indian men and kathoeys? Like everybody else coming to TLoS they’re aware of them, maybe curious to see what they look like in the flesh even tempted to have an experience with one. Have they not heard or read about other Indian guys experiences? Maybe he got cold feet, or tried her services and then decided against paying her, either way he underestimated the likely outcome of the situation and got taught a lesson, you don’t mess with kathoeys and come out lightly. Once back home he might have some explaining to do about his new scars, and how he got them.
One thing you can guarantee 100% it won’t belong before another report of an Indian tourist involved in strife will appear on these pages.

I was thinking that myself. I bet they do.

Jeeze, This is amazing when you summarise what the Senior RTP state and the politicians promise.

Firstly, the RTP states year after year , "No prostitutes here".  Pull my third leg!

"Family friendly". WTF. I would never take children anywhere near Walking Street and especially Soi 6 unless the father or mother are weird?
