Thanks.

Ep5 knight of seven kingdoms. Absolute gold. One of the most intense GOT episodes ever. Great stuff you'll really enjoy it.

So well done. Gives some back story as well. Just read s2 is already in production and will release 2027. Also good news. So no 2 year wait which is becoming the norm.

Da da da da da da 😅

Thought it was a bit gay ....... any episodes without a mans bum or willie on display?

Unlike GOT, extremely low budget, 5 episodes shot in a farm field.

Did you watch ep5 ? Its the 7 vs 7 joust match. Quite intense. Very well done with some great battle scenes.

One more episode to arrive before I start. Sad there's only 6 and they're so short.

Sarcasm detector activated. IMDb has it at 4.?

It is pretty bad. It's supposed to be set in the 32nd century but humanity hasn't advanced at all. They talk and act like 21st century Gen Z and even use the same profanities (chicken<deleted>!). Even the one Vulcan isn't logical. CBS/Paramount just hasn't been able to come up with a good Star Trek sequal unfortunately.

Thought it was dull, skipped through most of the fight scenes. Men rolling around in mud, just not my thing.

I watched Hamnet. It's about Shakespeare, his relationship with his wife, and the crisis in their marriage precipitated by the death of their son. It's slow moving and not historically accurate but I still found it interesting and the ending was very powerful. Shakespeare's wife Ann Hathaway, referred to as Agnes in the movie, is portrayed as a kind of witch of the forest and she beguiles Shakespeare over the objections of his parents (she was eight years older). The story mainly concerns Agnes' life apart from Will after he leaves for London and her devotion to their three children so she's devastated when she loses Hamnet, one of the twins, to the plague. Will doesn't make it back before the boy's death which creates a gulf between them tthat then serves as the inspiration for the creation of Hamlet. I'm not going to recommend it because I have the feeling most of the people on here won't like it but I enjoyed it.

To each their own. Better than most of the slop being put out these days.

Mercy with Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson now online. AI as judge jury and executioner.

Not bad.

Just finished season 1 of Betrayal and I enjoyed it. It's already been mentioned by a couple of other posters in this topic.

Follows brothers Will and Tom Green, who in 2003 appeared in a British Columbia town claiming they grew up in the wilderness, igniting obsession as journalists and authorities question the truth.

Now for something completely different....... a movie about the Nordic states way back when: –

I watched this movie on BBC iPlayer and was intrigued by it, because it seems to be based on a true story, and it's called, "Margrete, Queen of the North" and it is in one of the Nordic countries language, although a very small part of it does have some English speaking roles and it has been described thus: –1402. Queen Margrete is ruling Sweden, Norway and Denmark through her adopted son, Erik. But a conspiracy is in the making and Margrete finds herself in an impossible dilemma that could shatter her life's work: the Kalmar Union.

Not a blockbuster by any means, and it has subtitles, which I normally steer clear of, but this movie held my attention from start to finish.

All 8 episodes of season 3 of The Night Agent are dropping. Give it a bit to make it to the normal places.

Interesting but not really funny.

Can't believe how old Mike Palin looks.

All ep available on torrent now. On another note im crushed starfleet academy got cancelled.

'Steal' - a six episode series with a proper ending. A great plot with new reveals and surprising twists; good characterisation/relationships. My pick of the year to date.

Yes knight of seven kingdoms is quite entertaining. Binged the five existing episodes last night and will watch the last one tonight. Interesting how the main character relates to GOT.

I won't even bother downloading the cancelled Starfleet Academy. They really need to stop making new series. I still have 3 seasons of Discovery I can't bring myself to watch. And even Strange New Worlds that I had high hopes for has only one or two episodes worth watching in the last 2 seasons. Maybe the Talos IV episode if they make one will be good in the upcoming season.

Just saw the movie "Song Song Blue". It's about a Neil Diamond tribute band in the 1990's. Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson are the stars. Kate Hudson got an Oscar nomination and never realized she was now a middle aged woman who was brilliant as a middle aged female singer. It was a nostalgic and enjoyable. "Sweet Caroline" has been ringing in my head for days. This type of ringning I actually enjoy.

Enjoyed 'Being Gordon Ramsay'
Gordon Ramsay as we have never seen him before as he opens the doors to his home and businesses in the lead-up to his biggest restaurant ventures to date: the opening of five restaurants in one of London’s tallest buildings, 22 Bishopsgate. Being Gordon Ramsay, a 6-part docuseries, coming February 18th.

I recognized the trees in the flashback scene in ep.5 and had to figure it out from there.

Last episode was meh.

PS. I also decided to watch a classic again, "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" and am so pleased that I did it because not only is it a well made movie, it is so meticulously crafted with its action and dialogue as to let the viewer see a movie classic.

Obviously with its star-studded cast it was always going to be "one not to be missed", and I didn't!

If I may, I suggest the Brit made for TV version, with Alec Guinness. Watched that over again quite a few times over the decades. What impressed me most was that they made Guinness look (and behave) exactly like I pictured Smiley when I read the books. (Also have no appreciation of Gary O.)

You may like "Spy Who Came in from the Cold" with Richard Burton. There is a version of Smiley in there but my guess is LeCarre had him under development at that stage. A good double bill for it is Funeral in Berlin, both deal with crossing the Berlin Wall.
