Only my opinion. I'm sure there are some that thought it was OK.

It wasn't for me either.

Conversely, I enjoyed it. It wasn't great but for me it was still watchable.

OK.

Well, I watched it so have to agree it's watchable but on the other hand I'm easily amused.

Frankly, there are probably many thousands of tv shows and movies that are objectively better products than that movie. That doesn't mean "great" is a minimum standard. I was suckered into watching it by what worked for me as a catchy title.

I watched "Money Ball" again. Not a Brad Pitt fan, but it was much better than I remembered, and it aged pretty well.

Also watched "War of the Worlds", with Tom Cruise, and it is still very watchable.

The Rip

Dropping now on the bay

Just watched the first two minutes, does not look promising...

Saw "The Rip" and thought it okay but nothing special. Too much silliness.

Also saw "Becoming Led Zeppelin" and enjoyed it much more than I thought would.

I thought 'The Rip' was very good. Fast moving, with lots of action.

I am enjoying season one of 'Hijack'.

The Forgotten Battle

If you're in the mood for a World War 2 movie you could do much worse.

Nearly up to speed on the 2nd series of Landman, couple of episodes to go, love this series.

An hour into ‘The Rip’, I finally understood the title. Too late — the damage was done.

Oh my word, I've just watched the movie "Anniversary" and if ever there was a movie that foretold events as have happened now in the USA, then this is it!

It's a bit of a slow start and it's necessary to stay with it because the final 25% of the movie is so "alarming" because it really mirrors what is going on at the moment in the USA, right down to the murder of the woman in her car, by the ICE goons, and around that, all of the social upheaval and "fascist" elements which are becoming more evident by the day.

I can understand why this movie was "disappeared" because it is so close to reality at the moment as to be unnerving.

Definitely worth a watch, despite the slow start, and the acting was great.

PS. I had to hunt around to find it, but it's worth spending the time.

It didn't start well and took a while to get going, but once it did get going, I really enjoyed it. First 15 minutes were a bit painful but if you can get through that, all is good.

It got better, and I enjoyed it, but the shootouts and whatnot were a bit silly. 6/10

'Landman' is great. Watch all of them. There are many different stories/plot lines going on.

The Long Walk

If you're in the mood for a very very dark dystopian Stephen King adaptation. I found it compelling. The trailer is a fair representation.

Lightning and Thunder, a Milwaukee husband and wife Neil Diamond tribute act, experience soaring success and devastating heartbreak in their musical journey together.
