Maybe it was lab meat from Israel? 🤔

Who knows what it was.

It was exceedingly rubbery.

The only product that is possible to chew is a more expensive product from Makro, something called Tender Chicken, or something.

These are ...

The typical breasts sold out of bulk plastic bags at the mall, from big box stores, ....I don't know how you chew it, much less cut it.

Who eats it, anyway?

Still, at least this CP frozen chicken is NORMAL. It says Tender, but it is just your common chicken breast that you might find anywhere outside Thailand.

The RUBBER-FLUBBER Chicken breasts, that you see dumped on a huge tray in the meat sections of major stores, you might be able to grind up, or something. But, chewing and cutting is not possible.

What a mystery, as to who eats it and how they eat it.

Anybody know?

Makro Pattaya Sukhumvit sells two types of fresh loose chicken breast, one is about 77 baht a kg and the other HISO one is 95 baht a kg, seems better, more tender and no foreskin

So go back to what people were eating 100 years ago when the life expectancy was around 55 years. No injections then either. Life expectancy now is around 80.

Chickens don't have foreskins.

You'll find there were other factors involved like healthcare

I'm in the UK now, and many warned me that the food prices would cripple me. Not so if you eat fresh food, such as fruit, salads, fish fillets (not battered). The price is no higher than the prices in Bangkok.

But venture down the many shopping aisles marked "ultra-processed krap - ideal for lard buckets", and prices sore way above the Bangkok prices. I watched locals piling total trash food into their shopping trolleys, without a thought for what chemicals etc are actually in the junk that they are buying.

Great news.

For far too long Americans have not been putting the right stuff into their bodies.

Now I'm glad Mr Trump and his team have put America's health first, finally, with this inverted pyramid, the way it should've been 50 years ago.

🤎

Now let’s see if the overweight POTUS follows his “own” recommendations for the food pyramid . I highly doubt it. Just my opinion but he is one of the folks high on the list that says “do as I say not as I do”

I do agree that Americans eat a bunch of junk foods but so does some of the world as well.

I enjoyed a commenters post about eating what they like and being happy. Works for me. Don’t worry be happy!!

That's ok unless you develop a weight related health condition, I'm sure diabetes isn't fun

That's right

I have been eating real food for many, many years.

These days, I eat:

REAL canned tuna. I have cut down to one can of REAL tuna per day.

REAL 5-egg-omelette made with REAL eggs from chickens. One or two omelettes per day.

REAL chicken breast meat from REAL Live chickens, with feathers. I found a brand of chicken breast meat that is BOTH REAL and somewhat tender. But the other garbage chicken breasts I bought at Lotus were very spongy and rubbery and like extraordinarily tough chewing gum. I don't know how they can sell these. The tender chicken I get from Makro is far better. But, most importantly, all the chickens are REAL, and NOT VIRTUAL chickens.

REAL RICE: I like the Jasmine rice, but ONLY if it is REAL RICE, and not that VIRTUAL rice I have been reading so much about.

I also bake my own REAL bread, made with REAL flour, REAL sugar, about only one tablespoon, and REAL salt. And the yeast I use is also REAL.

Then, as far as fluid intake: I drink nothing but REAL WATER packaged in REAL plastic jugs.

It's unreal just how much REAL food I eat every day.

I do not eat any unreal ultra-processed food.

I don't believe in it.

I don't eat any of that stuff, like prepared jars of marinara sauce, or anything in cans that has more than one ingredient listed.

I do have, very seldom though, a bit of MAYO, Hellman's. Maybe one tablespoon every other month.

I keep everything REAL.

Except your posts.

I'm not sure pizza counts as junk food,

Bread, cheese, tomatoes....... What's wrong with that?

"Bread" as in an emulsified lump of proteins and fats, "Cheese" as in milk powder +rtificial colouring agents. I dunno, take a magnifying glass and read the labels.. Or make your own, still the best but not cheaper.
