Around me were many a drunk (means: brits) enjoying a pint of bracingly cold lager at 8 AM.

Were they bored? A bit.

P4P (assuming your thoughts) would get old and boring real fast. No challenge or emotions involved and from what I read, way too expensive.

Even if rich, don't think that lifestyle would be enjoyable. If not wanting to be 'in a relationship', then friends w/bennies is so much better. P4P on short holiday maybe, simply for convenience, and rent a GF for a week or 2, but as a daily lifestyle ... nah. BORING
