Funny observation about cleaners, universally around the world they rearrange all the containers in the bathroom, presumably to prove they've done something

Yeah, used up my rather expensive after shave lotion in a few places!

It is against the law in Thailand to rent a condominium for less than a month since condominium projects do not have a hotel license. I believe most large condominium projects in Pattaya are now enforcing this.

view talay six next door to hilton recently posted notices in the elevators reminding that stays of less than a month are illegal.....question now is will anyone enforce it as u can walk through the lobby and there are about a dozen property managers offering daily/weekly rentals as well as all sorts of listings on line....the large jurastic office is right next to the elevators and you would have to be blind not to see all the daily/weekly renters coming and going.....so far seems to be biz as usual with all sorts of short stays clogging elevators with luggage ...i recall some bkk condos have signs saying that the actual customers who rent short term are liable to being charged with legal violations as they are clearly told via signage that they are illegal....

Time for you to move on from Pattaya who gives you scares on your soul and making you depressed for 6 months after every visit

I very much doubt they have actually ever been there.

Just looks up a geographical site on Google maps, makes a post with an inclusion with that site in it, and away we go with many bickering back and forth following.

Of course you're aware that rental for less than 30 days of property without hotel license is illegal in Thailand?

We had a few people "escorted out of the building" by the police after neighbours reported them... would be showing real class if that happened to you...

Condos don't have daily cleans so your towels and sheets get old. Hotels are way better.

Totally agree. Hotel service way better. I won't do condo airbnbs any more. All previous places were clearly set-up as cheaply as possible with minimal decorations, amenities or quality. Cheap beds, cheap linens, paper thin towels, kitchens devoid of utensils etc. Best to stay in a hotel and eat out, or use room service where available.

Yeah some hotels are charming too. I pick the smaller ones.

Oh dear ,what a nasty old man you are!

Well as you live in the flybird condominium they may not fit the image of your building

There are many many condominiums on Airbnb for short term rental

Arcadia international, Olympus , lumpini , Laguna , even the Nirun

Nobody will be escorting me out of the building im a VIP and will immediately contact my local member of parliament

Absolutely. I've become a nasty old man and love it!

And thank you for sharing of Flybird condo. Not my type of dwelling, nor the town I'd even want to visit, let alone live in. But since you're bringing it up, you must be familiar. Your old home? Classy!

Your opinion my dear gentlemen where the perfect condo in Pattaya where they have beautiful amenities

gym , swimming pool,sauna spa ,

I will stay a few weeks so need a Airbnb which has these good amenties maybe even a garden area where I need to read my books .

I prefer a Airbnb this time instead of a hotel where the cleaning staff moved my toothpaste which I had place standing up with the label facing forward only to find the toothpaste on its side when I got back to the room ,on the bathroom sink and not to mention they moved my deodorant bottles which I had carefully and painstakingly placed with the labels facing the front all neatly lined up on the shelf and polished bottles

So my question is in your opinion where is the best condominium in Pattaya / Jomtien?

There may be many condos on Airbnb but if you stay less than a month in one of them you are breaking the law and staying illegally. You are not a VIP--VIPs don't stay at Airbnbs--and, yes, you could be thrown out--I've seen it done. Less than a month--stay legally at a hotel. Condos are residences, not hotels, and residents don't want you there. Stay where you, even you, are welcomed and wanted--a hotel.

The last two really nice BnB's we stayed in we had to be interviewed by the host before the reservation was accepted. They said we had not made enough bookings in the last 2 years. Talked on Zoom for 15 minutes and had the place. Not sure old George could pass an interview...🤣

Any condominium that is being abused for short-term Airbnb rentals won't be the most beautiful one after a short time, it's inevitable.

Your viewpoint indicates a troubling disregard for the importance of diversity. It’s crucial to recognize that judging someone based solely on appearances is both superficial and misguided. A true understanding goes much deeper than the surface.

I agree 100%

Books being judged by their covers and all that!
