Fact check - 5 alarm dumpster fire of a lie(as usual🤣)

Let's try democrat activist George Stephanopoulos for starters.

"ABC News has agreed to pay $15m (£12m) to US President-elect Donald Trump to settle a defamation lawsuit after its star anchor falsely said he had been found "liable for rape".

George Stephanopoulos made the statements repeatedly during an interview on 10 March this year"

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgrw57q4y9do

Trump sued for defamation due to Stephanopoulos saying he had been found liable for rape, while the exact legal text called it "sexual abuse" instead of the more accurate "rape".

Thanks for confirming my post. Again, Trump has never sued anyone for being called a rapist.

There is talk in Europe of a boycott. And if you look at FIFA rankings the top 3 are Spain, Argentina and France, I could see these 3 nations giving the FU to TACo. The only problem is England, ranked fourth, who'd see a chance to win for the first time in 60 years, not afraid of ridiculous victory.

You think Argentina wont show up? Yeah, right.

Being denied entry to the USA due to social media activity is a real risk as border officials (CBP/ICE) actively monitor platforms for "derogatory" posts, jokes, memes, or criticism that could be interpreted as a national security risk or undesirable, even if meant as satire. Content can be searched on phones, leading to immediate expulsion.

Social Media Screening: US immigration authorities review publicly available content on Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) to identify potential inadmissibility.

Contextual Misinterpretation: Humor, sarcasm, or political satire regarding the US government or its policies can be misinterpreted by border officers, treating jokes as genuine threats or "derogatory" content.

Specific Examples: Research indicates that even mild criticism or private messages regarding political administration, found during device searches, has resulted in foreign nationals being denied entry.

Increased Vigilance: Surveillance efforts have intensified, with officials instructed to scrutinize social media for threats to national security or to ICE operations.

Consequences: If deemed a risk, individuals can be denied entry, have their visa canceled, or be sent back on the next flight.

There have, at this time of posting, over 38,000 hotel cancellations for the World Cup. I wonder why?

With that long rant, you still cant show us someone who has been excluded. You still cannot show us whether ot not other countries do it. And do you really think Germnay will boycott the World Cup? Sucks to be them then.

Where are the folks excluded for mild criticism? Who are they?

Bet ya Thailand would exclude folks based on Social Media

YOU have NOTHING to support your rant.

You know the same as me, people have claimed the reason why they where turned away, and the immigration finds other reasons. One Norwegian smoked one joint legally in Europe at a legal place, they claim he was turned down because of illegal use of drugs, he claims they turned him down on a comic picture of Vance? So who is lying, the brother of you who smoked legal weed or immigration?

Source? Regardless, you are basing your rant on ONE person out of millions?

How many folks get turned away from Thailand every year.?

I'm very proud of defending my country from internet attacks by America haters. Plus it's fun because I am always right.

So tell me, can you think of any country that allows freedom of speech to visitors? How about someone going into Norway who has advocated online for the violent overthrow of the Norwegian government and the execution of your king. They going to let him in at the border?

Yes they are, because only the US of A, of all the countries on the planet, are even considering doing something as idiotic as checking social media for hurty comments about the most pathetic, incredibly thin skinned, pathologically insecure president in history.

Canada customs has full authority to check your devices when you are trying to gain access to the country.

Any social media account stored on said device is open to viewing and examination. If they feel warranted they can refuse entry based on information gathered this way.

Should be noted that this has been happening long before OMB came into power. I would imagine many western countries also follow this same similar pattern.

Seriously? The activist anchor falsely called Trump a "rapist" and boy did it cost the network. He did not call Trump a "sexual abuse"😅🤣😂

All you have to do is read the visa section on this forum to know that a lot of people who get turned away are lying through their teeth. Or, to be more generous, scant with the truth...

Sure, any unnamed source can say anything they like about Trump, and it becomes fact, yes?

This might come as a surprise to you, but as long as the MAGA movement exists the US of A is a very hard pass for me.

If what you are saying is "true", than there would be no border control, and anyone could come and go as they please.

Got to enter first, lawfully. No one is "entitled" to enter, and like Thailand and every other country in the world, allowing an entry is up to the IOs discretion.

You should read the cases as opposed to relying on someone elses analysis. Start with Harisiades v. Shaughnessy, 342 U.S. 580 (1952)

So many are not bothering to even try to visit. Seems its going to wreak havoc with the upcoming World Cup.

Based on data from early 2025 and projections for the year, tourism to the United States experienced a significant, marked decline following Donald Trump's return to office. Experts and industry reports linked this downturn to a "Trump slump," driven by controversial administration policies, trade wars, and, in some cases, a less welcoming international image.

Key Findings on the "Trump Slump" in Tourism

  • Significant Declines in Arrivals: Following a period of growth in 2024, international tourism to the U.S. began to fall, with reports in April 2025 indicating a near 12% drop in overseas visitors compared to the previous year, with further declines in June.

  • Widespread Drop-offs: The decline was global but particularly sharp from certain regions, including a 17% drop in European visitors in March 2025 and a significant, "plummeting" number of Canadian visitors.

  • Economic Impact: The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) estimated the U.S. could lose up to $12.5 billion in international visitor spending in 2025. Some estimates in early 2025 projected a 5.1% decline in overall foreign visits, a major reversal from earlier predictions of a 9% increase.

  • Contributing Factors: Analysts cited several reasons for the decrease, including:

    • "Negative Sentiment Effects": Reports of visitors being detained or questioned at the border.

    • Tariffs and Trade Wars: The administration's aggressive trade policies led to strained international relations.

    • Rhetoric: Concerns surrounding "America First" policies and nationalistic rhetoric created a less welcoming perception.

  • Contrasting Trends: While the U.S. saw a downturn, international travel in other parts of the world was growing, making the U.S. a notable outlier in 2025, according to reports.

While some in the travel industry initially hoped the impact would be minor, by mid-2025, data confirmed a sustained decline, particularly impacting major tourism-driven cities like New York and Los Angeles.

'ICE claim that a man shattered his skull running into wall triggers tension at a Minnesota hospital'

https://apnews.com/article/immigration-enforcement-minneapolis-hospitals-32cd5ca61d495e155d43b7cfd5e563b9

"Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents initially claimed Alberto Castañeda Mondragón had tried to flee while handcuffed and “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall,” according to court documents filed by a lawyer seeking his release.

But staff members at Hennepin County Medical Center determined that could not possibly account for the fractures and bleeding throughout the 31-year-old’s brain, said three nurses familiar with the case.

“It was laughable, if there was something to laugh about,” said one of the nurses, who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss patient care. “There was no way this person ran headfirst into a wall.”"

Citizens cannot be deported, non-citizens may be deported.

While everyone is entitled to due process, the level of due process is very dependent on immigration status.
