In Pattaya, a hotel employee was allegedly assaulted by a foreign tourist after the employee intervened in the couple’s sexual activity near a spirit house on hotel grounds. The incident occurred outside Dream Hotel Pattaya, prompting hotel staff member, 41-year-old Piatra, to spray water at the couple to deter their actions. This confrontation, which happened on February 9, reportedly led to an altercation when the foreign man attacked Piatra before fleeing.

The incident was made public when Piatra shared a video online, highlighting the couple’s behavior. The hotel, located in Bang Lamung district on Pattaya Sai Song Road, had not previously encountered such an incident in that area. Piatra mentioned that the couple was discovered engaging in the act near a plant pot and a spirit house, using a mat and candles to set a mood.

Channel 8 interviewed Piatra, who explained that the couple was neither guests at the hotel nor known to the staff. The situation escalated from an attempted deterrence by water spraying to a physical confrontation when the man allegedly assaulted Piatra. The staff member also speculated that the pair might have been filming adult content, as indicated by the setup.

In response to the incident, the hotel plans to enhance security by installing additional lighting around the area where the behavior took place. This spot had previously shown signs of misuse, with Piatra noting the discovery of used condoms and people urinating there. The hotel aims to prevent further inappropriate activities by improving visibility and deterring such behavior in the future.

Key Takeaways

  • A Pattaya hotel employee was allegedly attacked by a foreign tourist for stopping inappropriate activity.

  • The incident was highlighted online, showing potential misuse of hotel grounds.

  • Dream Hotel is taking measures to enhance security and deter future misconduct.

Spraying people with water seems quite aggressively rude outside of Songkran. Couldn't have just said -- get a loom?!?

  • It never fails to amaze me when foreigners come to Thailand and engage in sex in places where, if it were their own country, they'd get arrested and most likely charged with some sort of sex-crime. B

It never fails to amaze me when foreigners come to Thailand and engage in sex in places where, if it were their own country, they'd get arrested and most likely charged with some sort of sex-crime.

But they figure this is what? A third world country where the local must all shag in the bushes, so, "When in Rome???" Amazing.

The last thing to go to Pattaya for, a Sewing Bee, whatever turns you on.

Ha ha ha. Was the plant pot offended?

Seems to become a case of INCELs against rest of the world.

Banging on some pots and pans might have done the trick.

That or perhaps a Parisian mime.

Sorry, I just can't take this story very seriously.

This is Pattaya. What do people expect?

You're being charitable. Downright idiotic was more apt.

Is it a coincidence that these public fornicators were making a 'movie'? Hollywood is rammed full of degenerates such as Weinstein, Woody Allen, Roman Polanski (exiled), Bryan Singer, and James Gunn to name a few.

It's not at all clear to me exactly what the sexual activity was / level of nudity that was encountered here. You don''t know either from the article. It seems to me that makes a difference and also what's with vigilante actions?

I'm calling fake outrage. What is this? The Church Ladies forum?

ask yourself, why does it happened more often in LOS than most places??

Glad to hear my previous suggestion of spraying water on these rutting couples like soi dogs has been taken up! Unlikely to be able to find icy water but still a fair approach!

You're not in Kansas anymore.

Is public indecency a common occurrence in Kansas?

Unusual to see a hotel named in the media. A quick search indicates the Dream Hotel is over on Pratumnak, whereas the OP says Pattaya Sai Song. Unless there are two Dream hotels?

How dare the falang come with his falang partner ? He must consume locally !🤣

Because this is the LOS forum of AseanNow?

Maybe they just got tired of cleaning up used condoms and pee. That does get old.

From the OP: This spot had previously shown signs of misuse, with Piatra noting the discovery of used condoms and people urinating there.

I always thought anything was ok in Pattaya.

But were they making a movie? No mention of actual filming in the article other than the security guard speculation.

A plant pot, spirit house, mat and candle are the only items mentioned. Well, and used condoms and urinated ground.

It also wasn’t particularly public by the looks of it. More of a tucked away corner where people have previously urinated and fornicated.

Let’s not blow it up into something it wasn’t. It’s just a stupid couple opportunistically shagging. Wrong, illegal, worthy of a warning and/or prosecution. That’s it, move on and ignore the hype of a bored security guard

In the USA, potential lifetime registration as a sex offender.
