Pattaya markets

Featured Replies

Do you still buy clothes from the Pattaya markets ?

I'm not talking about my favourite secondhand market at Soi Bukhao where I purchase used t shirts

I'm talking about markets in Pattaya such as Mike's shopping mall or the night bazaar

I'm thinking isn't it much cheaper to buy off Lazada and Amazon than yo buy clothes from them?

Oh correct me if I'm wrong because I may be right , but walking through Mike's shopping mall recently to get my IV vitamins a indian looking stall holder said he would give me a discount on CAMEL zhirts which I love

I love the green ones with pockets on the front

How much I said "700" baht boss " he said

That's ludicrous I replied back in a Russian accent

So my question is , who buys clothing from these market stall holders ,tourists ?.

Do you honestly in all your wisdom believe you can pick up a bargain in these places?

Normal t shirts in Australia sell for 100 baht in Kmart , so please tell me who what why is using the night bazaar markets in central Pattaya to buy clothing off the Nepalese sellers

There's a market on Thepprasit, it's called the buffalo market. Why don't you go there one day, lots of used crap for sale

You said "boss" or the Indian guy said "boss"?

I should start talking like that. Calling everyone I meet "boss".

Annoy the hell out of people.

Yes, most people pretend to be Russian to get a better deal.

You could say the word "bro " and after that talk in a cockney accent and say "you know what I mean?

I bought some shirts the other day, inside Mike Shopping Mall wanted too much, outside if facing the see on the left on the street, seller sold them at the correct price, I've bought from both previously

Why dress like a low class brogan? Buy clothes at the Mall like Central or T 21. Many choices.

You're welcome.

Not sure what they call "bogans" in the USA ??

Oh please, try not to label good people based on superficial ideologies. Always look for the good.

Impossible to get the right size if you order on Lazada. I have sent loads of stuff back as they don't fit, so never order there now.

Any recommendations of good honest and reliable tailors in Pattaya area for having shorts and shirts made.

Such a sad life for a little man child.

You try to trash others for the way we live, and here you are buying secondhand rags to wear.

So much for your high and mighty attitude, I wonder how you think your future will end, all alone eating dog food is my bet

i insist on trying pants and shoes before i buy them, so mikes it is

I would have thought hygiene rules would deem the pants not returnable... :)

Dribblers. Banjo plucker, sister is my best friend, Mormon, taswegian to you... GEE WHIZ!

All the malls in Thailand be in Bangkok or Pattaya usually overcharge. No point in buying international brands clothes in Thailand any more. Even some stores in Europe can be cheaper.

Brogan is a portmanteau of "bro" and "bogan".

It is not impossible at all.

Sizes vary between suppliers and you are at a disadvantage not being able to try them on. Most Lazada sizes will differ from USA ones I find.....but I have bought footwear that fitted.

Uniglo - Central/T21, Under Armour - Outlet Mall and Adidas App. Lightweight clothes, perfect fit shoes, good value, and a pleasant hassle free shopping experience. I don't look anywhere else, keeps retail easy for me
