Entertaining. Both Thai and Farang seem to like it. Food reasonably good and not too expensive. Reservations are usually a must on weekends unless you dont mind waiting an hour or two for a table. You can reserve your spot by specific table numbers if you find one to your liking.

For first time visitors, I would go on a weekday to survey the place and then the weekend sometime later. The show seems to change every month or two.

Bruce Gaston (American music teacher from Chula) is one of the partners, I have been told.

It's big, it's, in fact, HUGE, which takes away some of atmosphere, I think, and the food becomes mass produced, too.

Bruce Gaston is a legend, not just a teacher from Chula. His Fon Nam is a top class band, combines Thai and Western music.

Not a bit like that ..nowhwhere near oxtail, trotters or bums or funny organs ...it is like a ham shank and great .
