I went to Bung Sam Lan lake a few days ago and had a great time rekindling my interest in fishing. It's about 20 years since I last went.

Although I had a great time, and caught bigger fish than I have ever caught before, the cost was a bit too high to make it a regular venue for me.

Can anyone recommend any other fishing parks around Bangkok?

Also, any recommendations for tackle shops?

I have a lake i visit quite often close to Bangna (Soi 103 Suk)

It is stocked with Catfish

My best is 17lb and you will catch every visit !

Is this in your area you can visit ??

There's a cool place called Fishing World out towards Safari World at Minburi, its stocked too but is in a much more natural environment and a much bigger lake, so you are not really guaranteed a catch every time, but there's plenty of beasts in there!
